This drop box is fantastic and very well built. The construction of this box is all thick metal and the box is rock solid. All parts are metal making for a very secure receptacle for items being dropped off. The keypad is easy to program via the free app and there are several ways to unlock the box with the app. The keypad does take several AA batteries in order to make the keypad functional. The app is easy to navigate and it is pretty easy to figure out how to operate the lock box. The instructions are clear and easy to read. In the case of the batteries failing, there is a manual lock in the side of the box that will allow you to open the box without the keypad. Installation was quick and easy and it is a great way to enable people to either drop keys off to you, or have access to the keys contained within the box. You can even set up a “one time” code for someone to use if they are just picking something up once. After the code is used, it is no longer valid. A great security feature. While this box may seem a little on the pricy side of things, the quality of the build and the peace of mind knowing that the contents are secure until they can be retrieved is well worth the price. A great product.

My wife has recently become a registered real estate agent, and she was using a small black, number-twist to unlock box. It was rudimentary, but did the job, and nothing else.Fast-forward to this keyed pad lock box from brand WEHERE which is seriously heavy duty, offering superior durability and assurance that the keys will remain secure until the keys can be retrieved. There are a host of other premium features not offered with a standard lockbox, like bluetooth and fob capability, which is truly awesome by comparison. The style of the box is also really neat; it kind of looks like a house itself, and adds a level of professionalism that is something my wife has wanted to exude in all parts of her work, so its a nice value-added touch that would help any agent but also homeowner feel confident in the smooth transition when potential buyers are visiting a home. There are some other options which I have not been able to test like the WiFi option since it requires other equipment I don't have access to, but it still functions very independently with the other great options available. Altogether it is a very great lockbox, and every new and function option we have to increase our sales and performance is always a good thing. 5 stars.

the product never worked correctly.the connectivity is completely random. It never worked in the sense of remote access. the alternate method of the offline code generation was also completely random. sometimes worked and most times didn't.The body of the product is made of steel(!!) and obviously not stainless steel and even though we protected it from direct water/rain contact, yet in no more than 2.5 months it stained and signs of deep rust emerged. It lasted enough for the return policy (1 month(!!)) to expire and the stained showed up almost instantly...Be very careful when dealing with this brand.

WORST PURCHASE I’VE EVER MADE. PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS WERE UNCLEAR. PRODUCT DID NOT CONNECT TO WIFI AS PROMISED AND IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SET THE CODE. BUYER BEWARE!

I think this is a complete scam. It was really expensive compared to other lockboxes and I bought it because I wanted the functionality of being able to let someone open it on a one time passcode and then it resets. However, I have never been able to connect the lockbox to my phone so there is no way of getting it to work. The lockbox is registered onto the app on my phone but then it just says "connecting" for ages and then says the connection has timed out. So there is no way of setting a passcode let alone a one time passcode or anything useful like that. The only way to open it is by the key which completely defeats the object of having it in the first place! I have searched YouTube and the internet but there is no guidance anywhere and no email or telephone number to contact for support. I literally have to throw it in the bin. I'm so annoyed about this. It's too late to return.

Reasons To Buy+ You need to provide remote access to keys or other small items. For example, you run a home share such as airbnb, or are selling your home and need to provide access to real estate agents.+ Very solid build. It's heavy as well.+ Easy to set up+ The keys beep when pressed so you know that the keypress has been registered.+ Allows for key return even when locked. This is done by lifting the lid. It has a rotating bin much like a mailbox, so it's hard to fish out any items inside the lockbox.+ Has keyed access to the lockbox (2 keys inclued)+ Has mobile application support (tested with Android). It's pretty easy to set up after you install the app. You just take a photo of the QR code and the lock is added.+ One touch open from the app+ Autolocks after a timeout+ The mobile app ("wehere") lets you manage access control and view activity logs+ Supports one time passwords (but you must be in bluetooth range)+ The battery compartment is external, so you can replace the batteries if they run out.+ Takes two standard AA batteries, which should last up to a year+ You can secure the battery latch with a philips screwdriver.Nitpicks / Hit or Miss* The door doesn't just pop open when unlocked, you need to twist the knob counterclockwise. Presumably, this helps save battery.* The battery compartment is tight and has no ribbon to assist battery removal. It's hard to remove the batteries after you stick them in. What I did was put some masking tape on the batteries to make it easy to pull out* Any management operation such as adding codes, or getting logs requires you to be in bluetooth range of the lockbox* Includes mounting hardware, but if you're installing into masonry, you'll want to get masonry screws and anchors* The "8" key on my keypad doesn't always register. I have to hold it down, wait a second and release before it beeps.Reasons Not To Buy- Requires a mobile device and mobile application to set up- Passcodes appear to be limited to 6 digits even though the app says you can go up to 10.- It is not wifi, it relies on bluetooth. So you can't do updates via the cloud, you must be in bluetooth range to communicate with the lockbox.- While it is covered, it's not waterproof. You will want to put it in a covered area to prevent moisture from getting in.- It's not bug proof. Small insects can get in through the key return opening- The key return is pretty effective, but it might not be 100% foolproof for a motivated, ingenious thief.

Bought to use for customer key drop for automotive keys. Before installing on my building tried putting keys in the hole. A standard size honda key with a key ring jammed if not put in a certain way. Poorly designed, should be bigger. TWO STARTS GIVEN because If it is just going to be used for standard house keys it should probably work ok.
