Instrument feels more solid than the last pair I bought. Keeps its position while plotting.However, picture makes it look like brass but it is not. “The body is a polyamide/glass fiber composite.”They are silver. Not that color has any bearing on their operation, they work well, but one could be misguided by the picture of their product. It clearly resembles a high quality brass instrument. Gotta read the fine print in everything these days. Keeping them, they work just fine, no qualms with their operation. Just don’t like to be catfished with a purchase.

I like these plotters, they are well made and they hold the distance fairly well. I use them daily for work and am satisfied with the purchase.

Still satisfying to see how such a simple product, made really well can make you feel good about your purchase. This is a quality divider in a very user friendly case with easy tip storage. It's simple, but it works very precisely, as it should.

This is a great divider. It is certainly built for a lifetime of use, so I did not have any price concerns. This critter will last me forever. The width calibration selection is firm and secure--it won't vary while stepping off distances. The knob at the top is knurled for a solid grasp. The only thing these dividers lack is a sort of protector for the points, as they are VERY sharp. They have already worn a bunch of holes in the side of my navigation instrument kit.

I ordered 3 of the GOLD millennium dividers and instead received 6 silver ultralight dividers. Not sure where the disconnect was...

I purchased one of these Weems & Plath navigation dividers and was first not sure what to expect. To my suprise they are a very nice pair of dividers with a real smooth action. Lite weight but yet very sturdy the geared pivot point moves flawlessly and the thumb srews are easy to turn and are just the right size. Comes with a removable steel point so that you can place the lead point in its place and now you have a compass too! This is by far a great pair of dividers and you will be extremly satified if you purchase a pair of these.
