One use and I’m in love! Works very nicely. Cleans oil paint out of brush well and leaves the bristles soft and clean. Will buy again.

This product is excellent to realign brush hairs - even if your brushes are coated in oil paint, dryed and stiff!!They become like new again! I couldn't paint without it!

Very good brush cleaner. Natural solvent free. A little prices but it's worth: you can do oil paint and brush clining in your basement in the safest way pesible, with your best pet around. Just enjoy. I like it and I do recomand it.

It's great for cleaning brushes once you clean it with this then you can wash them with soap and water and use some brush soap and conditioner. Don't confuse this with turpentine however. It's not a good product to mix with oil paint because the paint will never dry. The pigment settles to the bottom of the jar and you can pour this off and reuse it.

This is my favorite brush and palette cleaner. It is very effective, without the odor, so it is a good indoor choice. and seems to be gentle on all types of brushes. I haven't used it as a solvent for painting, yet.

If you have a special art paint brush that you forgot to clean thoroughly, just put it in a small jar of Turpenoid, covering all the bristles. After about a week or so, the paint will be soft again and the brushes my be cleaned to perfection. Turpenoid has saved several expensive brushes over the years and is well worth the money.

Turpenoid Natural is the only oil solvent I allow in my painting classes. It is the only solvent I know of that is non-toxic and nonflammable. It has a pleasant citrus scent. The only disadvantage is that it thickens up rather soon, and takes on the consistency of a syrup. When it gets too thick and polluted, you can always pour it down the drain. It avoids the health hazards of turpentine and mineral spirits. One warning: Do NOT buy plain Turpenoid in the bottle with blue type. It's old-fashioned mineral spirits, and very dangerous. Only Turpenoid NATURAL, with the green type, is safe to use.

I mostly use this product for cleaning my brushes, I paint with oils and don't like the fumes from regular turpentine, but this works really well as a cleaner, I let the brushes soak for a while, gently massage the bristles to loosen paint residue, and then rinse well with water. Afterwards I use a little pink soap or a soap made for brushes with lanolin and this keeps the brushes soft and also removes any residual turpenoid that may be present. (or you could use a little Dawn or mind soap) then reshape and let dry. This seems to make my brushes last for quite a while, even the inexpensive ones. I originally bought this because I had a sensitive pet, and was afraid the fumes from the turpentine would harm him. So glad I found it.

*See attached picture*Great product that I will for sure use!But as an artist who uses standard turpenoid for various projects I wanted to point out that this natural version will leave a yellowish tint on white paper. This probably won’t effect the majority, but as someone who like to use turpenoid on white paper for blending colored pencils… this is something that you should be aware of.Other then that I really do love this product!

This is the only brush cleaner I recommend. It's the only one that preserves the brushes while restoring them. It removes dried oil paint and makes the old brushes look brand new. Spectacular results, no need for nasty horrible toxic brush cleaners.

The first time I used this, I had bought a coil tank in Amazon as well and I ended up having a super weird growth in my tank. I blamed it on this natural terpenoid but I have since tried it again in a different tank and it works perfectly fine with 0 growth. I actually highly recommend this products as you can paint with oil at home and don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals and combustion. It makes my brushes really soft, but I do recommend making sure to rinse your brushes really well afterword because it can cause a slight build up on the bristles that can make them kind of oily and don’t move as smoothly. As long as I rinse it really well I don’t have any issues and it works just as good as odorless paint thinner.
