THIS IS IMPORTANT to know. If you have a smokey mountain Weber and want to replace the 18inch grills, you will battle to get the lower slightly smaller grill off Amazon, so all you need to do is go to the cooker main chamber and take the 4 LOWER nuts and bolts and flip them around, you will need a flat end screwdriver and a wrench/crescent-wrench to hold the nut side. By switching them and having the nut on the outside both grills can be used being the same size. It may take a little wiggle to get it passed the screw heads but you wont find this a problem. Happy Southern Style BBQing!

Work great, jut like the original grates that lasted about 20 years.

I use this for a tripod for cooking over the fire, it has held up very well and with the chrome finish it is easy to clean, exactly what I wanted.

I ordered this to replace the grill on my old 18 inch BBQ, which is not a Weber and it fits. It is thicker and better quality than the original and was easy to clean.

Hello fellow BBQ/Smoked meat enthusiasts!! This grate looks perfect! Awesome at a great price. I got it to increase the grill space (when I have some flat stuff) by flipping it up side down and placing it over another grill. I just checked it out and it almost fits right side up in the lower space of my 18.5" WSM smoker. It just hangs up on the bolts and bracket bump outs so it hovers about 2" above the rim of the water pan. It's 17 1/2" diameter is the same as the original top grate so you can check it out before you buy. Up side down at 90° to the 17" bottom grate it fits perfectly. The handles on the (right side up) bottom grate holds this grate at 0° and 180° and the handles on this (up side down) grate holds itself up at 90° and 270°. I also checked and it fits up side down on the top grate. The lid still lays down fine with no interference at the circumference. So doubling up the top rack with flat meats is also now an option if that's what I'm doing. Then I checked out how the rib rack I have, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0037NZ7BY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 fits with this rack up side down rack on top of the originals. On the top rack the handles of the rib rack touch the lid and lift it slightly. When this rib rack is on the double bottom arrangement the handles of the rib rack are right under the top rack so this will work nicely as long as the ribs aren't over the handle height (St. Louis will be fine, Spare rib cut might be an issue). My last session would be tricky with a 12 hr boston butt down below and the spare ribs flopped over the rib rack handles. Or maybe the butt could go on the 2nd layer of the bottom spot. Actually, when I have a 12 hr. smoke going, I load different shifts of meat. Another grate just adds potential. With all of this in mind, I'm probably going to drop that 'whopping' 13 bucks and get a 4rth rack for my smoker just to have the option of loading whatever I need at the same time.
