Just like the title says. The base is weighted, offered a nice stable platform, and the top is a standard screw used by most normal sized webcams. The adjustable arm tightens down, definitly enough for a webcam, though I can't speak to any larger camera weights. Overall it's a good product!

Very high quality stand, its diffidently not a tripod I know this much because its on a single pole. Its little squirrely to get started at first, but once you get everything tighten up, its very handy. I bought this to make product review videos. The base is very sturdy and the pole has an adjustable height. Comes with an top screw on adjustable ball socket for your Logitech HD web camera holder. Mine fit just perfect. All in all it was a great buy, also comes with some velcro straps to hold the camera wires.

I had ordered this as a way to get rid of the little tripod that my computer camera had come with. You could never get the angle just right and it was always falling over. This stand is very well made and heavy metal, so it doesn’t move from how you adjusted it. It holds the camera up nicely in the middle of my dual screen setup, so the meetings are very easy to conduct and give me a great central point for the camera. I liked it so much that I ended up getting my wife one for her workstation. I hope that this helps.

To be very fair, I have never owned or purchased a webcam stand before. This is my first. At first glance, for me, it looked intimidating. So, I left it for a couple of days then got it out to see if I could assemble it; that went very well and easy. Not complicated at all, however, the seller did not include paperwork or instructions at all. For someone like me, that is almost necessary. The site on Amazon does show a lot of detail; but still I'd like to have had that on paper. I have not received my webcam yet so when that comes and I can get it all working, I'll come back and edit and update this review. So far, I've only given 4 stars due to the lack of paperwork. This webcam stand is metal and arrived in perfect condition. The tightening feature in gold on the adjustment of height does tighten very well and the stand will remain stable. I love that feature. The packaging was excellent and very protective. As far as the stand alone, I am happy I chose it. So, for now, a four-star rating. More photos will be on the way.

This mount feels pretty sturdy, like it'd easily support some heavier DSLR cameras. The base of the stand is overkill for any standard web cam, at about 7" in diameter, I have to move my keyboard forward to fit on my desk. The stand's base height is also higher than others at about 9", which puts it in the lower half on my monitor; great for video chatting since your eyes will be more on the camera, but not great if you want to stream with it.

This was very easy to assemble. We got this to use as a speaker stand for a bluetooth speaker on my husband's desktop. It works perfect there because of the heavy steel base and solid construction. He attached his pen cup to the upright portion, and the steel base works great for his various magnetic tools. He has a handful of small screwdrivers with magnetic bases which stick great to the plate and keep them handy for when they are needed. It was a real hassle before, as pulling the tools out would also drag other things with it. He also has an LED bar light that has a magnetic base that he uses frequently, so having that stuck there is also very convenient.The unit also comes with a nice quality tripod ball head, which is extremely adjustable. If used with a camera, angle positioning would be quite easy. The main post extends very easily to whatever position you want to set it at. This stand is very stable, which is great for our purposes, but even moreso if you are using it for a webcam!

I was impressed by the weight of the package, anticipating a bunch of plastic. But no. The base and vertical support are both metal. The base provides enough support that your webcam will be rock solid for your Zoom meetings. There's a pivot ball with a tightening thumb adjustment. I used a Logitech C930 webcam and started a live video session. I made a couple adjustments to the angle and proceeded. I'm having a hard time providing enough verbiage because this product does what it's intended to do with a minimum of fuss. There wasn't an instruction booklet in the package but I quickly discovered that I really didn't need anything like that.So what's the bottom line? If you decide that you need a tripod for a variety of tasks, maybe this is not what you want. But if you're mostly using your webcam at your dining table or desk, this webcam stand is a no brainer. I'm happy to have mine.
