I own a 2023 Aquila 44 down in the British Virgin Islands. It came with the Webasto BlueCool AC system. In the 4 weeks we've been able to be on our brand new boat, on 2 separate occasions, the air conditioning has not worked correctly for 12 continuous hours. Even after 7 or 8 separate service calls for the same 2 fault errors, the charter company could not fix it so it worked more than a few hours. Both of those fault codes shut down the system entirely. If you look at the reviews for Webasto, you might see some higher average "stars", but look at the dates of the reviews...they're probably from 5 or 10 years ago and certainly are not from recent ones.

Do not buy a Westabo air conditioner. Installed a 12k unit last year and the operatiin temperatures fluctuate by 10 degrees from whatever it is set to.

Besides all the plumbing and duct work that you clearly don't get, understand that on the smaller units you don't get a remote. Be aware that the remote may not have a working display light making it useless at night. This is in spite of the fact that on the back of the remote there are instructions as to how to turn on the light. I contacted Webasto tech support and was told yes indeed some of the functions on the remote don't work. You can buy after market YX1F remotes on Amazon for far less than the factory one. However their display light may or may not work but at least you didn't spend as much.

Easy to install, compact unit, have three now fitted onboard 47 foot Motoryacht, three speed fan is very quiet.

Installed on our 43 foot motor yacht. Very low noise and no vibration. A great buy. Previous unit was a marine Air and swapping units was not a problem using existing hardware. We had to modify only one hose. Unit provides very cold air. We are most happy with it.
