I bought this for my granddaughter and I are learn weaving during an Egyptian unit study. It is simple and worked for our purpose (we made smug rug). I would like to take it out in the future to try a wall hanging.

The first attempt I ordered got lost in the mail. I re-ordered and the loom came in about a week's time. I didn't expect much since it was under $20. To my surprise, the loom came assembled in a box with the warp threads strung on and a few rows of a weft thread started. Arriving ready to go should help beginners figure out how to warp a loom as they have an example to go by. In addition, this loom came with two instruction sheets. One with instructions on how to assemble the loom and how to warp it. The second instruction sheet is also on how to warp the loom. The pictures are close-ups, not as clear but yet readable. The loom itself is well made, with support bars even though the loom is not terribly long. This is a feature I have not seen in other beginner or toy looms. It also includes all the tools needed to weave, including 2 shuttles, 2 combs, and 2 plastic needles (one short, one long). I seldom take the time to write reviews, but the maker did a good job with this one and it is affordable!

Good quality and well made. The insructions are poorly translated. I will look for a you tube video for good information
