I bought Weathertech because they are an American company that makes their products here in America. I was very disappointed to find out these deflectors are made in Germany.

Have had them on my Xterra for a few months now, and they have held up great and look awesome. Perfect for getting a little outside air vent without letting rain/snow in.One very important thing to note about the front windows install: make sure that the front most leading edge DOES NOT sit inside the car door window crevice. If you do that (which I initially did) the window will not roll up completely. I’ve seen lots of reviews where people complain these suck because they prevent window operation. I installed them per the instructions and the leading edge must sit on top of the outside of the window ledge (in my case on top of the horizontal rubber seal that’s on the outside of the window). Just a helpful tip to anyone looking at these. If installed properly they work great!

These work well, help with bright sun, rain, snow, and wind. Also nice to conceal slightly open windows. You do need to really clean your weathering strip in the window wells well -- rubbing alcohol worked well. I was surprised how nicely the rear covers stuck after a few days. Those have two small strips of glue -- one on each side. The front are just held in place by their shape.I have manual windows and even after months it is very challenging close them. You can but I never just hold on the the knob on the handle to open and close the window. Always grab the whole handle now. Some people can't even close the window beyond a certain point. That's something to get used to. I would not say it's a reason to pass these up. They are great. Just assuming that with modern electric windows having sensors either the motor will fry or the window won't close due to a perceived blockage. I don't know that and am only speaking from experience from past cars.

Low profile and they look good. I replaced the old ones that were stuck to the outside of the door and flared out. These are much more sleek and less wind noise.

I suggest you spray the window seals with silicone spray to allow the windows to roll up and down. The design could be better in that the portion of the deflector that inserts inside the weather stripping should be thinner.

Stupid stupid stupid. I read the reviews and yet I still purchased this item. It has been a few months now and they are still junk. SO tough on the window motors. I'm still under warranty on my truck which is why I guess i've left them on. Unlike other weather tech products, this is trash. Do not waste your time or money. They look great but are useless.

Spending the extra money on these is well worth it. Very easy to install and they cover the entire window unlike the competitors. After comparing them to the avs visors a friend has, I am glad i spent the extra money. The overall fit, finish, and design of the weathertechs are far superior.
