Where was this years ago? We welcomed baby #2 and bought a new vehicle, so naturally, I wanted to ensure the seats were kept safe. 8-12 years ago with our first two, there was only the thin, "mat" -like seat covers you placed underneath the car seats. Very thing with little to no cushion. When browsing around, even the new and improved "padded" ones did not seem to be adequate, or they had the "anti-slip" bottoms that others were indicating melted on their upholstery (not an option). When I thought I was going to have to settle, I stumbled across this! HOLY COW! GAME CHANGER! This thing is thick, solid, and will likely last for YEARS. It was well packaged and fit perfectly on the bucket seat of my Tahoe, even with the side flaps. Went through the car wash and removed this while vacuuming after about a week of use and not a single mark. If you want something realistic, and know the Weather Tech brand, this is it. If you are looking for some frufru quilted piece of art, may the odds be in your favor. 10 stars. Well worth the price.

I bought 2 of these mats to protect my leather seats from car seat indentations. I love how thick and sturdy they are and the lip keeps messes from landing on the ground. My only complaint is, one of them arrived without a box, just the mat in a plastic bag. One of the mats was a little dirty which made me wonder if it was a return. Other than that, I highly recommend these for protecting your seats.

Using this to protect my new vehicle seats. My son has one and recommended it. I have it in my car with the carseat installed. it covers what needs to be covered and wasn't difficult to install.

Bought these for my brand new car. Wanted to protect the pleather seats from dents from my child car seats. This was installed for 2 weeks when I noticed these marks upon readjusting one of the seats. Since then, I have left the seat bare in hopes it will bounce back and it has been 2 months now and these dents are still visible. I sit there myself regularly and still it looks like it’s going to be permanent. Don’t trust these. They don’t work at all

The protector is AWESOME! It has saved so many messes from going in between seat cracks with the lip around the entire mat. It doesn’t slip around and is easy to install. I love the side flaps to catch additional messes - and if you don’t want them you can cut them off. Great product.

Lord let me tell you, my toddlers destroyed my leather seats to my previous SUV with their messes and their car seats. I had no idea nor did anyone say car seats will eff your leather up so fast with the indentations they leave behind in just a mere couple weeks. Lessons were learned. Fast forward to July, and I’ve found myself getting a 21 Subaru Outback with beautiful pristine leather seats and two beastly toddlers determined to destroy that back seat within a couple days. These mats have already saved from spills of cups, snack crumbs, and my daughter deciding to pee through the cars seat after five mins from leaving the house when she just went to the bathroom. The unique lip of these mats catch ALL the liquids saving your seats! Hallelujah! I ended up not trimming the edges and just stacked the next to each other and were a perfect fit to cover the entirety of the back seat. If someone sat in the middle of the car seats, yeah it would be uncomfortable for their bottoms but that’s pretty rare for us. It love the fact that when they go to booster seats there a “kick” extension the covers the front of the seat. You can go wrong with Weathertech durability and quality. They match my cars factory rubber mats in color and style. Easy to hose off and clean vs other non-rubber car seat covers. Splurge and get them, you won’t be disappointed when your leather seats look just as good before kids entered the backseat of your ride.

Fitment is good with britax boulevard in 2013-2016 CX5. For being a universal fit, I say it fits pretty well. I bought this because i wanted to minimize slippage of the child seat and also protect the leather of seat base. I had a Diono seat guard complete, but it ended up deforming too much with excess slippage, into the garage it went. I’m quite happy with this thick weathertech protector. Note that it will not protect the seat back but because the child seat is angled (forward facing) , only the top portion makes contact, so it not THAT bad…
