One of my mare's blankets had a couple small repairs after last winter. One of which was a torn check buckle strap.Her blanket is not a Weathabeeta but it still worked perfect and is super durable. This one was also perfect because I just needed the strap, not the whole front piece or an extender. It was kinda difficult to find just this piece.Saved me a lot of money doing the repairs myself!

I always keep plenty of these on hand as you never know when one will break. These always break where the clip spins, but they take a lot of stress. Blankets always slide back and become tight across the chest and I usually have to replace one strap per year and I have two horses. To me that isn't a bad average.

Genuine weatherbeeta product, worked perfect for it's intended purpose. Easy to put on the blanket and replace the broken strap.

True, it does appear that one would get a pair of straps, but still, for the price, these straps are well worth it. There are other Amazon stores selling the same straps (showing only one) but a single strap from one of these other sellers costs more than twice as much as these do. I also have to say that I am so very glad I ordered them. My first order was in November, 2018 to replace a couple of straps on which the hardware broke. I just ordered more because the hardware on another strap has broken and with that, I used up my November purchase. It is unfortunate, though not Weaterbeeta's fault, that although the blankets can really take a lot of abuse and seem to last forever, the hardware (which they don't make) does not. Oh well.... I should also mention that these straps work for certain Dover and Smartpak blankets as well. Anyhow, for all the complaining by other purchasers, I think they are well worth the price.

It worked perfectly to replace a strap with a broken clip on my horse's turnout blanket.

Well-worn blankets are bound to run into repairs eventually. These replacement front straps are easy to change out and hold up to whatever my horse and his buddies have thrown at it. Understandably, they will likely not last forever, but that is why they are removable.

Worked perfectly. Glad to be able to buy this product. My horse broke the snap but otherwise the blanket is in good condition and has plenty of life left in it. It is good to be able to buy this replacement piece at a reasonable price. Weatherbeeta neverdisappoints me.
