I had been using a range finder with slope for the past year, and I found that pretty accurate. The only problem was, I stopped thinking as much about my shot and focused too much on the one number from the range finder. Yes, you can use range finders to shoot the pin, bunkers, hazards, front of the green, etc., but I would always worry that I wasn't shooting the exact spot. I also am not sure that the slope feature always worked well, and I quit thinking about uphill/downhill as much as I should.Since using this gps unit, I now think more about where I want to hit my shot, and mix/max distances in case everything doesn't go 100% to plan. I'm thinking more about how it will play uphill/downhill, since I'm not using the slope feature on this unit, which it does have by the way if you want to enable that.This is making me a better player, because I'm thinking more about a min carry distance along with a target distance. There are other features that I'm not even using like the scorecard. You can also use the app on your phone to see a view of the hole and distances to hazards.I highly recommend this gps unit.(10 handicap index - golfer for 30 years)

Used it twice and it found the course right away and the yardage was very accurate. It advanced the next hole automatically. The display is large and easy to read. The one thing I would like to see is a picture of the hole to see any bunkers and water otherwise it's a good product. 👍🏽

Love that I can clip this on my bag and get an accurate yardage reading. In my opinion way better and a lot faster than stopping and shooting a laser.

This rangefinder does the job very well - distances are always on target. The large screen is easy to read and the auto advance to the next hole is slick. I think my A #1 feature though is the type C / standard charging port. My previous range finder (start w/ G) had a silly proprietary charging chord so the unit constantly had a dead battery when needed or was left home charging. We have type Cs chargers everywhere so this Bushnell is always ready to go (I usually just recharge in the car so it stays with me). I walk most rounds so I've ended up using the magnet as a holder for my ball markers - when stored in the same pocket they just find each other which is perfect. I've been getting two 18s on a single charge. I wish you could opt out of scoring all together before each round and just use it as a range finder. I don't care to track fairway, right, or left nor # of putts per green and sometimes it takes a minute during a round to find my way back out of that menu option. Overall I really like and rely heavily on this rangefinder every round. I rarely use my laser rangefinder with the Bushnell Phantom 2 in my pocket.

I expected distance information but am pleasantly surprised that I can get distance to end of fairway, bunkers, water with a simple tap of the left center button. The magnet held the Golf GPS in place throughout a complete (bumpy) round. Also this one quickly connects to satellite and very quick to find the course!Only reason for 4 stars - I couldn't figure out the scorecard on the fly...not intuitive.Based on my older version, my only caution is to keep it out of a pocket with balls, divot repair gadget, ball marks. I messed up the screen on my old one and am now being more careful with this one.

Really like this. Holds a charge for at least 4 rounds. Accurate measurements. Magnet to attach to the cart is great feature for when you ride. I’m a 17 hcp and I don’t need rangefinder specificity to know whether it is 138 or 141 yards to the pin. Just tell me how far it is to the middle, and the pin placement, and then I know what I need to hit it there. Hitting it there is a separate matter but at least I have the right range of distance to know what club to use. For $100 it’s cheaper than a rangefinder or golf watch. Glad I bought it.

Accurate and magnet is strong to stick to metal surfaces. Fews mtrs difference from my rangefinder. Battery life can last for at least 2 rounds of golf maybe 3
