This is a great way to substitute for heated seats if you have an older car or one that just doesn't have that feature! This blanket is soft and plush but mighty. The heat is amazing with 3 settings and it is easy to drape of a seat in the car.

This works well in our hybrid when running in the EV mode when there is no heat on. The commute is too short for the engine to warm up. This works great.

I am happy with the amount of heat this throw gives even on low. I have it plugged into a power station that gets rechargeable with my solar system. This blanket pulls 45w on low and 54w on high. It does the job.

I love the fact that it is wearable, best feature..but as I tried using first time, the lint from blanket shed all over my clothing and ruined it..too much lint debris from product

I got this blanket mainly for the back seat of my truck since my front seats are heated. My son always rides in the back seat on trips and he tends to get cold during the winter trips and also likes to sleep on longer trips. This blanket has a long cord that plugs into the 12VDC outlet of your vehicle. It has three switch settings of High, Low, and Off. It has a series of snaps on the edges that allow you to make it into a shawl for keeping it buttoned around your torso and arms. Another use that we have discovered with this blanket is watching my sons football practices during cooler weather since my wife always gets chilly on cool nights. This works great for her since I have a 12VDC power port in the bed of my truck and she can plug it in there and still sit in the fold out chairs on the ground. This blanket is NOT machine washable so take care with getting it dirty as it's spot clean only. My biggest drawback with this blanket is that the cord is permanently attached to the blanket. This means that if you have it snapped up in shawl mode and want to go to the bathroom or walk over to someplace, you have to drag this cord along with you wherever you go. It would be great if you could just unplug it from the blanket and then go do your business and then plug back up to the blanket when you get back.

This blanket is ridiculously comfortable and soft! It surprisingly heats up quick in my car and reaches a decent temperature without being too cool or too hot. It has a high and low setting and we have used both. We typically always start it at high to get it hotter quicker and after timing it, it took just under 3 minutes to get to its hottest although, it starts getting warm within about 15-20 seconds after turning it on. The main and pretty much only qualm I have is that I thought this would be purple to match the other purple accents in my SUV but unfortunately the color is very different in person than the online photos. The first two pictures I posted are closest to its color, however it's an even darker blue in person (although not as grey-blue). It's really hard to get a clear picture of the color due to the type of material. The only other small thing I noticed is that it gets hottest and most of the heat is centralized to the middle of the blanket which is something I've found common with allot of heated blankets. The buttons on it, allowing you to wear it is a nice feature but with only being able to plug this in the car, the only use is keeping this secured over your back and shoulders since you obviously can't walk around with this (unless of course you are not using the heated feature and decide to either drag or carry the attached cord around). For us, this feature is useless since we have heated seats. My son uses this now all the time since I'm prone to hot flashes and he gets cold easily. When I can't turn the heat up as high as he wants, he puts his seat warmer on then drapes this comfy and warm blanket over him. Win-win! Overall, a great product though I do think $25-30 would have been a little more reasonably priced for it. However, with that being said, the listed price of $35 is not that unreasonable. We're happy with it.
