As a person that rather cook than eat-out, I had my original drip pans for 5 years before the black coating started bubbling off. Now, First thing I did noticed right away is that the material is thin and the paint coating is also thin. So I don't see them last long, but I could be wrong. Other than that, the pans do fit nicely.

I used these to replace the silver drip pans on my GE stove. What a lifesaver! They look so much better. It was impossible to get all the spills and stains off the silver, but these black ones look sleek and clean at all times. I love them!

I don't know why I never considered black drip pans before, but I'm so glad I did this time. What an upgrade these made! I needed new drip pans to replace a set of older silver chrome drip pans that were a couple of years old with heat-sealed black grease and caked-on residue from years of daily cooking. I got so tired of soaking and scrubbing them, yet they never came clean. Searching for replacements, I came across these black porcelain drip pans and I thought perhaps they might not show the black, baked-on residue and rust as much as the silver chrome drip pans do. I figured since my stove door and top piece with knobs are black, these might just look ok, but if not, I could simply return them and get the ugly old silver chrome ones. Well. There's no turning back now. These look amazing and make my stove look like a brand new, completely different appliance. The larger 8" drip pans needed a gentle coaxing push, but they snapped right in and fit nice and snug. The 6" drip pans fit great, too. I have an older (20-year old) GE range (not sure what model), but these black beauties make it look like a brand new shiny range, and I'm just thrilled. They really transformed the whole look. So glad I took a chance on these, rather than playing it safe with the boring silver chrome drip pans that quickly look old and dirty, despite how hard you scrub and clean them. Never going back to those!
