The original nobs on our range were plastic and two melted from a hot pan being placed on them. These are metal and an upgrade from the OEM.

These knobs were just what I was looking for except that the off marker is facing on the wrong side. They fit perfect on the stove but look like I have all of the burners on. They are a nice weight and would not have broken. Will be returning unfortunately.

GE wants $15 per knob for their defective factory original replacements (the slightest heat took the paint off the GE "stainless steel"). These were a fraction of the cost, a perfect match to the existing cooktop stainless steel and weighted to feel more substantial. I've been waiting for 3rd party replacements for years and these check all the boxes. The only thing better would be if someone made this knobs out of anything but plastic. These look like they will hold up much better than the originals, however.
