Software setting
1) Download image (Raspbian, Ubuntu, Kali, or WIN 10 IOT) from the Raspberry Pi website. https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/
2) Download the compressed file to the PC, and unzip it to get the.img file.
3) Connect the TF card to the PC, use SDFormatter.exe software to format the TF card.
4) Open the Win32DiskImager.exe software, select the system image downloaded in step 2, and click 'Write' to write the system image.
5) After the image has finished writing, save and quit the TF card safely.
6) Power on the Raspberry Pi and wait for a few seconds until the LCD displays normally. And the touch function can also work after the system starts.

This is a great screen for a RPI 4! Zero issues at all. The lower part of the case is plastic though. Required zero additional config. Just attached to the pi and it worked right away.***One the screen is connected to the pi you have to have a sd card with a distro flashed on it for the screen the work. The screen wont work without an sd installed.

Monitor usato su raspberry per visualizzare gli album con Moode Audio. Mi serviva un monitor DSI, cioé con cavo flat di trasmissione ed alimentazione. Quindi niente cavo Hdmi. Si collega direttamente ad una porta sul retro del raspberry (nel mio caso un 3b+). Ovviamente visto che il monitor é alimentato dal rasperry stesso bisognerá trovare un alimentatore da 5V con un maggior amperaggio (io sul raspberry ho tutta una serie di schede audio montate oltre al monitor e sono arrivato a prendere un'alimentatore da 5v e 6 ampere). Monitor piccolo, ma comunque touch. Funziona bene

I have a complaint, and it's not even related to this product. I wanted this exact thing, but without the touch capabilities. I don't need it for the project I'm doing so I would be happier if I could find a cheaper product that does not have touch.With that being said, this meets my needs perfectly. I need something small form factor so I can work on a hand held. If it had mounting points that came off the screens backing instead of being inset I wouldn't need an extra bit to insert this screen into a frame, however it's workable.If you need a small screen quickly, this is the one to go for.

Mein erstes Display musste ich zurückschicken, da es nicht funktionierte und augenscheinlich schon ein einmal retouniertes war (Reste des alten Versandauflebers auf der Schachtel und mit einem braunen Paketband zugeklebt). Dank der Amazon-Rückgabeabwicklung war die Retounierung aber kein Problem.2.Versuch: diemal ein originalverpacktes Display welches ich zur Vorsicht erst einmal "fliegend" ausprobierte. Was soll ich sagen: hat zu meiner Freude auf Anhieb funktioniert! Dann ordentlich zusammengebaut, d.h. meinen Rapberry PI 3B+ darauf montiert und noch einmal probiert und es funktioniert noch immer.Ein klares Bild und ein gut funktionierender Tochscreen, obwohl die Schutzfolie noch darauf ist. Die muss ich noch lassen, weil ich das Teil noch in ein Gehäuse einbaue und dabei das Display nicht beschädigen möchte.Einen Haken hätte das Display für jemanden, der öfter die SD-Karte tauschen will oder muss, da das Verbindungskabel vom Display zum PI genau davor verläuft. Das heißt fummeln oder Kabel abstecken.Für mich ein klares, genau passendes Display mit einer klaren Empfehlung.

This is a small display for a small computer. It's designed for the Raspberry 4B, and it includes a mounting system to attach the processor board with all its trimmings to the back of the display and so that the combined package fits comfortably in the housing provided. The kit includes a few ribbon cables. When assembled, the shortest of the cables neatly connects the display and the processor. The cable simply slides into the socket at each end, so you have to give it a good push so it seats properly.The display is sharp and bright but nothing like a modern high end smartphone screen. The touchscreen works pretty well, but keep in mind that the screen is small if you are designing a user interface. Consider using one of the Raspberry's HDMI outputs to get a larger screen if you are doing development work. Many Linux systems will provide a full width, half height on screen virtual keyboard. One can type on it if one is careful, but, again, if you are doing development work, consider getting a USB wired or wireless keyboard. If you are considering this product, you likely already know about the magic of ssh, but it's nice to be able to connect directly for configuration.I'm using this in a hobbyist project, trying to run an old PDP-10 emulator, so far without luck. I can imagine this display would be useful for countless applications amateur and professional.

Geweldige display .Deze word gebruikt om de Victron venus os te draaien op een Raspberry pi4b.Werkt gelijk zonder probleem.Let op als je dit gaat gebruiken er voor.Venus os geeft alleen bij op start de logo Victron.Je moet inloggen en de unit activeren aangezien de venus os van uit gaat geen Display aanwezig is. (Je heb beeld met de Victron logo)

This case/screen combo is amazing! Very high quality, easy to assemble and the final product looks so great! I'm using for a Kali Linux distro and while other touchscreens I've tried would not work as touchscreens with Kali, this worked on first boot! No drivers to install, just a few lines in the config file.Two downsides: light bleed from the bottom of the case, not a big deal at all, just noticed this morning in a dark room, otherwise, not noticeable. The possible bigger downside is there is no way to swap SD cards without completely removing the back of the case and maybe the display ribbon cable since the TFT port is between the screen and the pi and the display cable goes right over that (you can see in the picture with the case open, the TFT slot is behind the gold display cable). I'm going to try a TFT extension to see if I can make swapping cards easier, but even if I can't, this is a great case/touchscreen combo!EDIT: Tried the TFT extension, but there just isn't enough room without blocking the display cable port--however, the pi 4B supports booting from USB and I'm using that method now instead--working terrific! I plugged in a standard USB SD card reader and it would boot from that image. Every distro I've tried has worked with the touchscreen with no additional setup and when I connect an HDMI display, the HDMI takes over and the small panel turns off just like you'd want it to. Can't say enough good things about this setup!

Ekran na raspbianie dziala od razu po podlaczeniu, nic nie trzeba ustawiac. Wentylator na zdjeciu jest podpiety do zlych pinow, prawidlowo w dolnej linii 2 i 3. Koniecznie trzeba dodac radiator do procesora, inaczej wentylatorek nic nie pomoze. Obudowa moglaby byc aluminiowa, wtedy warto by bylo nawet doplacic, ogolnie spasowanie 7/10.

Works great but the screen is small. Plugged to my TV then monitor but only shows a marquee like screens. Hoped once plugged it to a monitor that i would have a large screen of what was on the case screen but no. Works great but not really good for playing video games on.
