Love the way it looks, it was an easy install. I couldn't get a consistent reading from it. Oil pressure read from 150psi to 0. I tried all of the tricks on grounding the sensor, etc, but couldnt get it consistent reading. Eventually went back to a mechanical guage.

But then I started reading about it, and it said has to be grounded good well if you use Teflon tape around fittings it won’t de a very good ground butBecause it was such a bear to install.it very tight I put a radiator clamp around the big part of the sensor with a ground wire under it tightened it up and ran rite to neg on battery It works good no more number jumping and steady . The company needs to put a ground hook up mounted on the sensor that would probably solve a lot of problems!!!!

The gauge was simple to hook up, however, the only way I could make it work on 98 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8 was to buy an (Oil Filter Adapter Plate) this attaches in place of the oil filter, is about an inch thick, it has ports, and plugs for gauge access. Your oil filter then attaches to this plate completing a sandwich seal with the motor. The other optional skinny (T) adapter wouldn't work with this engine.

The gauge worked well upon initial installation, then began to malfunction and become erratic. Oil pressure was checked with a manual gauge to confirm that this gauge was defective.
