Good item that holds the hose in place. I bought a 1.5 hp pump and these make a difference with holding the hoses in place.

Used with 1.5 inch pond hose, had to sand down barbs so hose would slide over. After that mod it worked fine.

I bought this adapter to attach to a bulkhead connector on a rain barrel that I was working on for my wife. I screwed the threaded end into the 1-1/2" female bulkhead connector, and put the 1-1/2" black corrugated plastic hose on the other end to serve as an overflow relief for the rain barrel. It performed great. Shipping was within the expected time frame, and it was adequately packaged without a lot of extra material or overly large container. I would recommend this supplier to friends anytime.
