I use these in every rig because you don't have to worry about water getting in the tires and they add weight down low. Make sure your getting the correct wheel and tire sizes.

I have 3 RC crawlers and after trying the Hoocrawler green inserts in one of them, I quickly decided to get 2 more sets. They fill the tires nicely, with the right combination of forgiveness and sidewall support. The product description suggests the green inserts are best suited for vehicles under 9 lbs, however, two of my three trucks are over 10 lbs and they still work great. They also add some weight to the wheels, which is a pretty good place to have extra weight for stability purposes. Being as they're made of silicone, I also don't have to worry about water getting into the tires and soaking foam inserts.

These are good inserts, not great. Comparable higher end inserts manage to remedy the directional flex these have. Which leads me to believe these are simply knockoffs that benefitted from zero R&D or thoughtful material sourcing. Is that a bad thing? At this price, yes it is.If you've never witnessed the directional flex many of these cheaper inserts, it can be quite detrimental to performance. It's not the end of the world but it can matter in very detailed crawling situations. By directional flex, I mean when force is applied to the tire/insert, the insert flexes in one direction every time rather than where the situation dictates. This can create adverse control situations because the tire wants to force itself backward or forward without the ability to control on a very finite level. Not the end of the world though because you can pay attention to this while assembling your wheels and tires. Just be very mindful of the direction the flex goes on each wheel and install the wheels on your vehicle accordingly.

This is my first experience with this type of insert and I’m still testing, but so far I’m very pleased!! I chose the green, softer version. The stability when sidehilling with these is better than any foam inserts I’ve used. I don’t have any complaints or cons so far, but have enjoyed these pros:- Nice weight. These weigh more than traditional foam inserts and for me this is a pro because I run heavier rigs and soft suspension to get more realistic vehicle movement. For some who run comp or super light rigs, this could be a con, I suppose.- Nice width. These fill out my tires better than others, so I’m very happy with the somewhat increased width on these.- Stability. These do not fold over the way my foam inserts have. These guys are much more stable on a sidehill!- Waterproof. These guys won’t soak up water. This has allowed me to vent my tires, giving me a better crawling experience. This is a huge plus for me!- Tunable. I have not made any adjustments yet, but should I desire more compliance at some point I can cut some of the supports out. I appreciate this kind of versatility.Overall, this is a great product for my use and I would get these again in a heartbeat. If you can get them on sale at the current 15% off $16.99 price I’d say they are a good value. I’m going to be hard-pressed to not swap all of my rigs over to these if they continue to impress me like this!

These are advertised as 108mm but they are in fact 118mm. Also, they don’t fit the 1.9 wheels. Maybe they sent me the wrong part but the number on the package matches. Returning these and going with injoras version

Very nice product and work amazing would definitely recommend to anyone driving rc crawlers. I don’t have to worry about water or mud getting into them they are great conform to objects and drive right over everything
