I got this mattress to replace another one I have and use in a different way than intended. We use crib mattresses on the center console of the vehicle for our spoiled dogs to ride on. This one is a little less thick and firm than the last one, but it still works. It has a very nice cover, that's removable and washable, which is imperative.My Review Criteria: I do not review anything that I don't want/need for my own personal use and I have enough knowledge about it to provide accurate and useful details. Feels firm enough for babies and may serve as a matress for a mini crib if you don't have a full-size standard crib.(Disclaimer: I received this product for free from Amazon Vine program. This mattress topper comes with a very nice cover. It is waterproof without being hot. The zipper works well and the stitching is all straight and strong. The tag states the cover is 100% polyester Jacquard fabric w/TPU film. It also states that the foam pad is 100% polyurethane foam. The mattress has a gauze cover that is sewn on. I removed this cover. The mattress does not have different layers, there is no memory foam. I consider this an advantage because it does make this easier to roll up and carry. It is not too heavy. It has a grid of ventilation holes all the way through the mattress. I am very pleased with this foam mattress cover, I just don't think the description or photos are accurate.

All foam products I have ever purchased need to air out for about a week before the smell disappears or is tolerable. This one needs it too.The verdict is: Not as described but still it is an OK mattress at an OK price and firm-ish supportive conventional feel foam. The zipper was impossible to unzip but it has a nice cover. The foam piece also had a non-removable sheer fabric cover.There are no labels indicating Tempur Pedic foam. It measured 25x39" but could easily fit into 24x38 as described. The foam had ventilation holes. It measured 1.5" thick after just a few minutes out of the box. I would rate the foam as medium to firm. My best description of support is if a lay my forearm on the foam it won't bottom out even with lots of pressure. If I put my elbow on it, it will bottom out but because the foam is thick enough, it is still supportive.I would say that the pictures and the description don't represent the product. One picture shows carry straps. There are no straps so maybe it was just a suggestion on how to carry and store.Another picture indicates Tempur Pedic foam and the description says memory foam. The foam seems like ordinary foam. It does not have that memory foam feel when you press your hand into it and it does not leave a depression when you take your hand away. It springs right back.

Obtained to be used in photo shoots with newborns. It is perfect for that purpose rolls up to an easily carried compact size. It is good thickness to keep babies comfortable while being easily moved as shots are set up. It has a washable cover that is easily taken off and put back on. Going to get a lot of good use from the product.

Crib mattress was hard and baby didn’t sleep well until we put this on top. Fits perfect in his mini crib
