This waterproof dry box immediately appealed to me, as I'm often kayaking or canoeing on the water and I use multiple dry bags to hold my phone, keys, etc. With this dry box I can carry pretty much all my important items in one place. After loading the box with my keys, wallet, and some other items I submerged it in the lake for half a minute or so to verify its watertightness. My items stayed dry, no bubbles came out of the box, and I found when I released the box that it even floated- and that was with more than 2 lbs of gear (nice to know if you drop it in the water your items won't sink to the bottom). This dry box feels sturdy and well made. The only possible downside may be that this box is relatively heavy compared to dry bags for your phone, etc, but unless you're racing it's not enough to even notice. Stick it under your deck bungees, wrap the cord around some bungees to make sure it won't get away, and have fun on the water!

I have another dry box that just barely fits my phone. This is big enough for my phone, charger, cable, wallet and my car keys. But still small enough to fit easily in my boat bag. You can see well enough through the lid to tell what's in there. The o-ring is seated well and keeps any water out. I did do a submersion test and it didn't let any water in; it floats.

As I thought, similar to one purchased before. Secure fit for water protection. Nice size for cell phones, keys, wallets, backup cell phone solar or battery packs etc. Not particularly deep. We kayak a lot. And the departure and return packing up always has a bunch of stuff we need to swap in and out of the yaks. A variety of dry boxes like this is key to gear safety. Definitely nicely built. Works for me.

This is a very good waterproof box. The watertight seal is the real deal. I tested it thoroughly, and not a drop got through. The size is just right for my needs, not too bulky but spacious enough to hold the essentials........phone, wallet, keys. The fact that it floats is a bonus.....dry at the bottom of the lake, would still present a problem for me. I will not go kayaking without this in tow. I literally have it tethered to my life vest.

I haven't needed to use this out on the water yet so I just tested it in my kitchen sink to make sure it will work. I filled the sink with several inches of water, filled the box with several items inside that would mimic the weight I would be filling it with on a boat (cell phone, keys, etc.) then dropped it in the sink. To my relief it floated and no water leaked inside the box. I allowed it to sit in the sink for about half an hour just to be safe and when I took it out again everything inside was still dry. The box has a little weight to it, but I actually like that it doesn't feel cheap and thinly made so I know if it's knocked off the boat into the water it's going to survive. It's a nice size and can hold a good amount of stuff. With the clear top I'm able to look inside if my phone is ringing to see whose calling. Overall it seems good and sturdy and it does the job it says it will so I am happy with it.

The water proof box arrived quickly - YAY! Immediately upon grasping the box, the black plastic “handle”, if you will, broke. It’s not crucial to the function of the box, but it does diminish faith in the quality of the product in the future. The material does not feel as sturdy as some others I have had in the past, but it does seem useable. I have it on an old sailboat to keep log books dry. There’s enough room for a small notebook, a pen and a phone or two. I would not put these books into the box if I didn’t trust it to keep them dry not if, but when, things get soggy during the winter season. The latches and the gaskets work well and fit properly. So far, the cracked lanyard attachment is not enough to keep me from using an otherwise seemingly good product. I’m trusting it to keep some important items dry for the next several months. If there are any adverse issues, I will come back to this review to update.
