These Boots do not disappoint! We recently, out of the norm, received 7 in of snow and these Boots were lifesavers! Very well made and super cool looking! The two velcro straps on each boot provides secure fastening. My dog tried his hardest to kick these boots off but he did not win! I highly recommend these!

After all the tragic experiences trying to buy a coat for our Sammy off Amazon these boots are the real MVP.Worth it for the hilarious walks, only used for mud and rainy days but they're perfect. Buying a second set now to keep at work for days it starts to rain!Make sure to tighten them right up! Give them a little tug to ensure they're tight. Samoyeds have a coat like Teflon.

There’s definitely enough room for bigger paws unfortunately, it kept coming off. I tightened it but the left one still kept coming off. Maybe, if I put a wrist band on his leg and put the shoe back on and tightened it that way. Maybe, it’ll stay and still be comfortable. It’s not waterproof but the fabric has rubber soles and seems comfortable and not stiff.

I got this for my dog when he had a sore on his paw that he kept licking, it was easy to put on and stayed on a lot better than expected. It took a while for him to walk normally as he wasn’t used to it but it did the job and helped his paw heal overtime… eventually he did chew at the boot and pulled it off but since there was 4 we just kept replacing it as needed. With more training I think he would have gotten used to the boot but overall it worked well for what we needed.

These are really nice boots and the size chart is accurate. The bottoms have thick rubber soles but they are still flexible. They arent 100% water proof but they are definitely water resistant. The double velcro makes it easy to make tighten enough to not twist or slip off. One pretty major flaw though - they aren't quite tall enough so where you tighten the velcro lays right over the dew claw and smashes it. It doesn't seem to be an issue for just walking but when my dog is running around with them on the dew claw rubs and causes a sore (insert sad face). If not for that this would be a 5 star review. I only took off one star for it because my dog has long but skinny legs so it may not be an issue for everyone.

So my 71lbs Standard Poodle, needed to be able to walk on asphalt during extremely hot summer days and that’s originally why I bought these. My dog is a service dog who does tasks for me and therefore goes everywhere I go. It’s been upwards of 90-112 degrees here in Idaho this past summer and given that he goes where I go he’s always walking on parking lots on hot asphalt and even concrete can get ridiculously hot on 112 degree days so I didn’t want him to burn his paws. Now let me say these are the fourth pair Of doggie shoes I’ve tried with him. None of the other ones stayed on, had good airflow and breathing room, or even fit his paws properly. These shoes here they’re great. They don’t fall off (you do need to have them tightened properly, my vet tightened them for me the first time because I was worried about them being to tight and cutting off circulation but she said not to worry about that with these that even if I tightened then all the way, which I almost have to, it won’t hurt him), they fit the shape of his paw perfectly, they are breathable with mesh towards the top so there is still airflow to the paws, but at the same time the bottom does a good job protecting his paw pad from burns etc. and they do not seem to be overly uncomfortable for him or annoying to him either. He walked funny at first but has since become accustom to them. Though if I leave them on while he’s inside in between going places he walks weird on the carpet still but once we are outside and going he’s fine, it’s like he doesn’t notice them. He can also play in water with them and swim and they stay on and dry fast afterwards. I’ve machine washed them twice just not dried them in dryer and they held up just fine. I have a feeling they will also come in handy in winter as he hates snow and is always like dancing from one paw to another in snow holding up one paw then another and I think it’s because the snow is too cold for his paws as his breed is not a snow dog. So I'm thinking I’ll be using them come winter too. Right now since the weather has cooled down I just use them if we go off trail hiking so he doesn’t get burs stuck in his paws which is pretty handy. Also lastly in my experience with buying doggie shoes I’ve bought both by guessing his size based off weight and breed and finally by measuring his paws and I will definitely say that I highly recommend you measure you’re dogs paws to get a the best possible correct fit. I had my vet do it for me since I'm disabled and he can’t do that task for me lol. Anyways I would very highly recommend these shoes!

When I purchased these size 8 boots I was skeptical that they would work out, concerned about 3 things: whether the boots would be sturdy enough for our 80 lb lab, whether they would fit his feet properly, and whether he’d accept them. On all three counts I have been pleasantly surprised. The day after the boots arrived I tried them out on him. Not surprisingly, he didn’t like them. He tugged at one of the boots until it came off when my head was turned. I put it back on and tightened it and it stayed on better. I did have some trouble the first few days with the boots slipping off of his feet while he was running around. I had been afraid to tighten the Velcro straps too much for fear of harming him in some way. But I began analyzing his feet a little more and in my opinion there’s no problem tightening the Velcro because unlike a human foot the tightening would not cut off blood flow and not likely cause any pain: that part of the dog’s foot is nothing but a bunch of tough sinew of bony flesh and nails. There’s no evidence that getting the straps extra tight bothers him in any way. So once I tightened the boots more they stayed on just fine. In fact, if you don’t tighten them enough they can sometimes slip somewhat sideways which has to be hard on his foot, so don’t be afraid the get them tight. When you put them on kind of feel where the longest toenail hits within the boots and everything should be okay. Unless your dog indicates in some way that the boots are painful you should be just fine strapping the boots on firmly.Since the boots are mainly for his use when he exercises, such as walking him on local trails or playing fetch or other outdoor things he enjoys, our dog has come to associate boots with fun. Because he associates putting the boots on with things he enjoys he no longer tries to tug on the boots. I don’t know that he LIKES them but he in no way resists me putting them on anymore and there’s absolutely no evidence of pain or discomfort. We walk our dog mainly on gravelly or somewhat rocky trails but these dog boots are holding up well. So the skepticism I had when I purchased these boots turned out to be unfounded: the boots are rugged, they fit well, and he has adjusted to them. To me they are more than worth the price.
