Be intelligent and read more than the headline posted. IT IS NOT spot free water, not even close per the company yet they keep raising their prices so too many of you arent very smart.

With the factory filters at full water pressure I could not get this below 50 PPM and longer you ran it higher it would go up to 126PPM. After watching videos and checking specks it seems operating flow is 2 gals per minute max. At 2 gals a minute I could get it down to 26 PPM still not spotless. I went back to the videos and got the parts numbers for a DIY upgrade. It still dose not work at full water pressure but at 2 gals per minute I could get it down to 2 PPM. I'll live with that but I might have to use a garden hose as opposed to my pressure washer as its rated at 2.5.I have an on the go duel bed that stays at 0 PPM, I've used it 4 times at 12 gals per wash and it still reads 0. I recommend this option as you could spend a lot money getting Waterdrop to work.

Purchased a new vehicle that has full PPF and Ceramic Coating. I'm using this prevent water spots. This device is attached to a pressure washer with a foam cannon. I am able to then foam my entire vehicle. Then I rub it down with a microfiber cloth. No swirl marks as it's covered with PPF. Otherwise, I would just let the foam do its work by itself. Then I spray it down with the water that goes through this. There is a bypass valve so that you can send untreated or treated water through it. Helpful if you soap with untreated water and then rinse with treated water. Otherwise, you would have to build your own contraption with multiple valves on other brands. I like this one because it had an off, bypass and treated water options built in.

First off, this is a very solid well built filtration system that does what it is supposed to do. I have lousy municipal water that would leave harsh deposits on my vehicles which have now been eliminated.The reason Iโm only giving 4 stars is probably partially my fault. It says it filters 1gpm which it does, however I thought the bypass would flow a higher gpm. It does not, and it starved my 1.2gpm pressure washer while bypassing the filters. Had I known this I would have bought the cheaper unit without a bypass and 1โ npt fittings and made my own bypass. Instead of being able to use the pressure washer for both the foam cannon and rinse I had to split the hose and run a seperate garden hose for the filtered rinse. I probably should have researched more but I just want to let others know what I found.Iโm running a pre filter as well for sediment, chlorine, etcโฆ to help extend the life of the filters as well. Iโve only done one wash and rinse so Iโll have to see how many gallons I get before needing to swap filters.Overall it does what it promises and I am very happy with the build quality and results.

The water drop, spotless car washing system is easily the best bang for your buck compared to others. I won't name those other brands, but just for an idea, one starts with a C and ends with an R. The Waterdrop blows that away in all categories!Value: The standard 4.5โx10โ resin filter changes are much easier & affordable to replace than any brands I've seen, and for the overall size, too, you just can't beat it. Water-Drop sells a replacement kit, or you can fill your own resin for better value & increased resin lifespanThe build quality: is terrific, with stainless steel where needed, a thick steel mounting bracket, a bypass/off valve, and an excellent design for the bypass pipe. The bypass valve is also stainless steel, and the pipe threads are cut/protected perfectly. Make sure to Teflon tape the threads, which are standard 3/4 NPT (NOT HOSE THREAD).The results: were precisely as claimed on the listing! No water spots were left behind, not even one, during my wash process. I havenโt changed the filters yet. Iโve gone through maybe 150 gals. In addition, I'm using some pre-filters (in-line) before this unit for the high chlorine content in my area, and I hope to get 4-600 gals of spot-free rinse before needing a resin change. Please remember that the frequency of resin changes may vary depending on how clean your inflow water is. A good rule is to check your TDS with a meter before & after using.Additional notes:-This is NOT meant for drinking water.-Once TDS is above ten, itโs time to change the resin.-The units bracket can be swapped if you need to switch flow direction.-Came well packaged with Teflon tape, filter wrench, hardware, and easy-to-read instructions.-I recommend to buy it as a โpackageโ with an extra set filters for additional savings-Pre-filtering the water for specific contaminates before this unit saves money in resin-TDS tester not included like some others.-unit is heavy but compact enough to fit behind my head in my detail van.

The quality of the this product is unmatched. The features that are included for the price is incredible. The customer service for this product is incredible and amazing. Compared to bigger name competitors (CR-SPOTLESS) this Waterdrop unit blows it away. Bottom line, they are essentially the same canisters, same head assembly etc. however the Waterdrop includes a stainless steel bypass that has workmanship that is second to none. Granted the CR model has a built in TDS meter into the head assembly and included ($30 value) the Waterdrop model can easily be modded to accommodate a TDS meter...and to be honest the inline readers are often inaccurate in my opinion. CR Spotless also DOES NOT offer a bypass meaning you must build your own which is additional money and a huge PITA. Don't sleep on the Waterdrop spotless water system. It's an incredible value with incredible support.
