This is a good adaptor that I needed when the sending unit in the head of my Jeep got messed up.What a pain in the rear to get that sending unit out...and...luckily...I didn't get it out...just messed it up to the point where it wasn't usable anymore.That's a good hole to plug with a messed up piece of brass!I can't imagine what a pain it would be if I had a hole at the back of the head.A real pain.Anyway...I mounted a new sending unit in this and installed it inline on the upper radiator hose...connected everything to the sending unit and grounded it all to the head...and now I have a gauge that works.Relatively simple...and good to know how hot your car is running.I've heard people use this to add a sending unit to control aftermarket electric fans in your vehicle, too.The clamps that came with it are probably adequate...I'm just nervous about the Jeep out on the mail route.I used some stouter clamps.Good product...simple.

Super easy and simple way to add a temp gauge. My car does not have a gauge, just a dummy light that is way to late. Using this will make installing a new sensor that avoids having to wire into the can system, allows this to be a standalone which was what I wanted.
