Perfect fit for my 2005 Kenmore Water Softener. It no longer collects water in the salt tank.

I took the assembly out of the packaging. Tightened the tubing outlet nut. Inserted assembly and pushed in the locking fastener in the main body of the water softener. All looked good. I plugged the unit it and cycled the water softener and the top dome shot 3 feet in the air and water spraying everywhere. The Venturi dome assembly threads were stripped and product defective.Cheap knock off ... dont waste your money

Easy to install. Came with new O-RINGS as described. If you order one do not throw out any packaging till you find the small o-ring package.

Our Whirlpool Water Softener was missing a small (about 6mm diam.) gasket. It was available from a parts supplier for$20+$20 shipping - for the gasket only! So far - this complete Venturi unit fits perfect and was installed in a few minutes. Will see how it performs when the unit recharges.

Softener was filled with water not draining so I needed a new gasket this was just easier than taking it all apart, so this installed with the clip and 2 screw in waterlines and forced a cycle and it SLOWLY drained. Took all of about 8 hours to finally drain and return to normal operation.
