1. If I push the float up to close the valve, the water stops but if i leave it to run after a while the fountain it will overfill. what should I do?
You have to adjust float so it properly stops water flow. It should stop flow at different pressures. It has a small volume supply hose and should easily stop water. Pick up in one hand holding stainless bracket and with other hand lift float water should stop. If it doesn't stop water flow the valve is not working.
2.Can I purchase replacement fittings?

3.Can the be attached to an existing dripper line that comes on twice a day? Will it turn off after filling even if the drippers are still on?
Yes, It may cause the drippers to have less water available until fountain is filled and the float valve shuts off.If the water is up to the level, it will not allow water out. When the float is up, the valve is closed.
4.Can the auto float fill sysytem be connected to a water hose?
Yes, you can connect to hose, but maybe you need purchase a new adapter.
5.How to prevent water leakage at the float joint?
When installing, we recommend that you use washers or plubers’ tape.
6.How to install it?
The product is sturdy, with a larger float. It comes with a heavy duty stainless steel mounting bracket. You can attach the bracket to the concrete block or wall. Also, you can use suction cups on the wall of the fountain.

The floater seems to work only half the time. The stock tank actually overflowed a couple of times and cost me an extra $200 in one month!

Looks like a good product, delivered on time, BUT the fitting for an outdoor faucet is 1/2 inch. All outside faucets are 3/4 in. so I cannot connect this auto fill system to my fountain. I must buy a 3/4 in. female to 1/4 in compression fitting at $12.99 plus shipping to make the connection. Previously contacted seller. Received no help.
