I put a new filter in my pitcher and the water came through black. I tried all 3 filters and all produced the same thing. I should have known better. I would like to give it no star but that's not a choice. I wasted money.

I use these filters for filtering our water for drinking, since our water system uses a water softener. Makes the water better tasting.

I usually don’t give a negative review but folks should void this product. We did the typical, fill and discard 3 pitchers. After 3 fills, the next fill should be ready to drink HOWEVER…. The fourth pitcher was fine but any other pitchers after that leaves a nasty fishy taste and odor to your water. It’s a horrible taste and who knows what kind of harmful chemicals, etc. is in this water.You get what you pay for ; poor quality, and defective China product! I’m going to try to get a refund but I tried two filters and they both leave the fishy taste. Go ahead Nd get. Brittany.
