Maybe we just need a new garbage disposal. I can usually use that angled allen wrench-type tool to fix it, but this time the grinders are just too stuck.

Moved into a new rental house, had a nicer Moen 1/2 hp I thought it was just stuck, rusted. This tool took few tries, locked right in and at first was hard to spin, then got easier and easier. Flipped breaker on unit. Turned on water , hit switch and she works like new.

I spent at least couple hours trying to fix my sink. But there’s just one seed got stuck in the food disposer. I tried to take everything apart and still can’t get it out. But this tool, it just took me one second it fix my food disposer. Now everything’s working fine. I hope I will never use this again.

This item worked wonderfully. My garbage disposal was suck for days. There wasnt a blockage, just suck due to old age. The problem was I couldn't get enough leverage to get enough strength behind trying to unjam the disposal. But with this tool I was absolutely able to get enough torque to un-jam the disposal in seconds and get it moving again.It's really cool because the head swivels so it easily fits down the drain and then swings out to catch both teeth on the disposal. This gives you plenty of leverage to then be able to turn the disposal to unstick it.It was extremely helpful!!! Built really solid, and is definitely something that will come in handy again.

Our garbage disposal was jammed from disuse...I had a hard time trying to rotate it from the bottom I guess because I'm not very strong. Using this tool was much easier and I was able to fix it by myself 👍 thanks!

Clearly this doesn’t work for everyone but it unstuck my disposal in less than a minute. I don’t have a ton of brute strength but I didn’t need it. I’d actually gone on Amazon to buy a replacement for my not working Insinkerator disposal but saw this as I browsed and thought it was worth a try. One reviewer said to rotate it counterclockwise which didn’t work for me. I had to spin it both ways. Again, less than 60-seconds with limited brute force. Also, I had 5” above my sink so the handle was perfect for me. Highly recommend as worth a try!

There are so many garbage disposals unjamming tools out there and I wasn't sure which one to get. But then I found this one, the waste king Garbage disposal tool and it is awesome! It's not expensive at all but it does such a great job! And super easy to use. Just alittle bit of elbow grease and I fixed a 3 month James garbage disposal in 3 minutes!This tool is the best tool I have ever purchased. I'm so glad that I made this purchase and am getting my money's worth out of it. $15 versus 150 for a plumber to come and do the same thing. I had seen other reviews saying that it was a waste of money and did nothing, but those people must have been using the wrong model because this one works beautifully! I can't believe I made it this long without Garbage Disposal Tops. I don't know how anyone could live without one of these. They are the best kitchen tool I have ever purchased and I use it in the future which is great for my budget.

Trying to sell our 4 yr old home but after the buyers inspection we were charged with a non working 4yr old moen 1/3 motor garbage disposal. You could hear it getting electricity, humming, just seemed stuck & wouldn't rotate. YES we did try the reset button! Moen blogs stated that likely its frozen stuck due non use & rust seemed to be showing a bit inside the wall lining of the disposal. I decided to Google information on such a issue. I saw that there was a specific wrench that goes through the top. On Amazon I found this item for $12, got overnight delivery for being a Prime member I figured we try this fix before I called a plumber. The item did come next day later towards the evening so I waited until next morning to try my luck. After about 5 mins & having to use a towel wrapped around the top portion to give me a better grip to turn and nudge this thing, I saw a slight turn. So I turned this wrench back and forth some more and abracadabra...it rotated like it was supposed to! Turned the on switch and a nice grind, humming sound of a working disposal! Give it a try 😉

Lo compré para un triturador Waste King l-1001 Legend Series.Lo probé, y mueve muy fácilmente el mecanismo interior. Honestamente no lo he usado pues jamás se ha atorado nuestro triturador, pero es definitivamente uno de esos utensilios que es mejor "tenerlo pero no necesitarlo, que necesitarlo pero no tenerlo".

For the price, this item is worth it. Had an issue with my disposal where the blade inside was jammed and wouldn't turn, not even with a hex tool. Used this to twist it manually and while you need a good amount of strength and effort, eventually was able to resolve my issue.
