It fit my first time walker so wonderfully and I felt relived that she could walk around without slipping and stay warm.

I was looking for warm, thicker toddler sized natural fiber socks and ended up buying and returning multiple products until finding this one. My 1.5 year old is a size 6 in shoes (so typical toddler size) and so many of the socks I bought claiming to be toddler sized were more like 4-8 year old sized! I bought these in both the 12-24m size and 2-5T size and was happy to find they are true to size and the 12-24m size fit my kid great and are comparable to his 12-24m cotton Carter's socks. I am keeping the larger size for next year. These socks are thick and help keep my toddlers feet warm. I have washed them a couple of times (machine wash cold, tumble dry low) and they are holding up great so far. The grips work as well as any other grippy socks we have tried for preventing slips (we have thinner merino wool socks without grips and our tot wipes out in them almost immediately running around on our hardwood floors) and the grips are well distributed and pretty thick (and look like alpaca hooves, which is so cute). The only issue I have found is that because the socks are pretty thick and the grips are also fairly thick (and grippy), they are a struggle to put boots over, even when the boots are a full size larger than your toddlers shoe size. I think the combined thickness of the socks and grips adds a full 1.5 sizes for younger toddlers - it is probably less of an issue as the wearers feet get bigger but its a fairly significant difference when kiddos are still so small. Not really a flaw of the sock at all, but just something to be aware of if you are considering purchasing these. If your home has mostly carpet and not smooth flooring or you exclusively want to use these inside shoes you are probably better off getting the Warrior Alpaca toddler socks without grips and sizing the shoes up a full size to accomodate the thickness.I would still love to find a moderate thickness sock with an even higher percentage of natural fibers, but these are the best I've found.
