We will cut it slightly bigger than advertised dimension to account for shrinkage. And It may look a tiny bit oval or not an exact round when you first put on the table, but after a period of time, it will shrink to circle.

after many years of getting thin plastic table covers from walmart, we decided to get this for our dining table. I love that it is clear (not hazy plastic). It stands up to all the abuse from cups and pots that we have subjected it to. I have had this now for 4 months and it still looks brand new.It is great value for money and I think it will last long time before I will need to replace. It does make the wood on table look nice.

We purchased this product to cover and protect the service of our new island. We chose this thinner one because some the reviews of the thicker one said that moisture built up underneath it. Our island has a wood surface so I didn’t want to worry about that.The thickness of this product is perfect for our use and is doing a great job protecting the wood. We’ve had it on the island for about 10 days.It does come a little bigger than the measurements and requires cutting to fit, but with the right tool it’s not difficult to get a smooth edge. It has also stayed in place with no problems. It wipes of easy for cleaning, too. My only complaint about this product is it comes in a roll and it takes a while for the ripples to relax. We did use a blow dryer as directed but that didn’t get them out completely. Not even after doing it twice. It is finally starting to flatten out now so I expect they will flatten completely with time.I put a big butcher block cutting board on top so I can safely put hot items on that instead of the plastic so it doesn’t accidentally get damaged by heat. All in all I’m happy and am planning to buy another one for my vanity top, and maybe by kitchen table.Lastly, so far no moisture has accumulated underneath.

Nice and thick, and decently clear, but getting them to sit completely flat was too much of a pain.I tried leaving them in a bath of very hot tap water, and they flattened out about 90% of the way, however the edges still curl over a little, which is irritating.

I bought it for my annual cookie day and it was perfect. Every year I waste money on vinyl tablecloths that shift around and still get cut up as we roll out the dough and use the cutters. This year I put this clear sturdy cover on and it made a huge difference. The flour and dough clean up really easily and the plastic didn’t move or get damaged by the process. The cheap tablecloth under it was also protected so I would feel safe using this over some of the vintage cloth ones I have that I almost never take out anymore.It came with directions to use a hair dryer to help flatten it, this worked like a charm. It laid flat with no stickiness and was a very smooth work surface and easy clean up.
