It worked for about 6 months, then the "cast iron" started peeling off. It is pretty much useless now. I'm trying to find replacement plates for it, but it will depend how much they cost if I am to buy.

This panini grill works great but it has a huge downfall: You have to hold the top open while you place your items on the grill. Other brands have the ability for the top grill to stay up while you put your food inside. Disappointed.

This is my third grill. Love the large size and only one lid. Lid is easily adjusted without dismantling it.

Takes a while to heat up, looses heat constantly. Top press is so heavy, had to improvise and stick some lug nuts in between so the sandwiches don't get crushed. Once you get the hang of it though, this is a really great press for the price.
