I like the camera as you can move the view around, it has a clear picture and easy to set up. There customer service is easy to get ahold of and is nice and helpful. The app is a little faulty but they said they are working on that but otherwise its a nice camera for the price

I’ve been using the Wansview security camera for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for keeping an eye on my house and dogs. Setting it up was super straightforward—just plug it in, connect it to 4G, and you’re good to go. The video quality is surprisingly clear, even at night, which I didn’t expect for the price. The app is really user-friendly, and I love that I can check in on my pups anytime from my phone. The motion detection feature is a nice bonus—it sends me alerts when the dogs are moving around or (ahem) causing mischief. I also appreciate the two-way audio; it’s fun to talk to them and watch them get all confused trying to find me. 😂Overall, this camera gives me peace of mind when I’m away from home, and it’s super affordable compared to some other options out there. If you’re looking for a solid, no-fuss camera to keep an eye on your home or furry friends, I’d definitely recommend it!

I purchased this camera to monitor the East end of my front yard while another camera monitors the middle and West end. With the pan/scan/tilt features of this camera and the location where it is mounted, it also covers the entire East end of my house (side yard) and even sees into my backyard all the way to the alley. The quality of the video is excellent, even at night. The camera has automatic night vision but also has a built-in light that can turn on to illuminate a good-sized area and provide color video at night. The motion sensing is almost too sensitive but can be adjusted accordingly to avoid false trigger events. You can turn on Motion Alerts so that when motion is detected it will send you an alert on your phone/mobile device, with a small image of what was captured on the camera, and then you can choose to monitor the camera from the app, or not. There is two-way audio so you can talk to anyone that might be seen on the camera, in case you want to communicate with them, warn them to move along, or if you have a friend or family member outside in the yard working and wish to talk to them for some reason. There is also a built-in siren that can be set to trigger when motion is detected so it acts as a deterrent.I currently own 10 WiFi security cameras, 3 different pan/scan/tilt Wansview/Galayou Wireless Outdoor security cameras, and of those 3 this one was the least expensive and is the BEST and my absolute favorite. They were all very easy to setup taking less than 3 minutes to connect to WiFi and the Wansview Cloud App (the app needed to setup and monitor your cameras), and have strong signals everywhere I tested them inside and outside of my home which consists of brick and mortar exterior walls and extremely thick metal lathe and plaster interior walls that tend to create a very harsh environment for wireless signals. My WiFi Router is mounted near the rear middle of my home, and this camera is mounted on the outside front corner of my house, with about 6 different walls between them, and it still has a very good signal and provides a clear picture. This W7 security camera also has the fastest pan/scan/tilt features of all of the others I have. You are able to set "favorite" positions for the pan/scan/tilt cameras in the Wansview cloud app so you're able to quickly jump to specific views, so I always set a few for my cameras. When I switch between favorites this camera responds quickly and moves between positions faster than any other camera I own. You can also use the "console" controls to manually move the camera to any position you want in case you want to scan your yard, or track the movement of a person/vehicle/animal for any reason, and this camera is very responsive. Using the Wansview app on your mobile device you can monitor 1 or more cameras from anywhere you have service, or at least that has been my experience so far. My only complaint with these cameras is that upon motion detection they only record a 15-second video clip so you won't have a full-length non-stop video of any activity, but continued activity will trigger the camera repeatedly and continue to record 15-second clips. You can however manually start recording video from within the Wansview Cloud App and record as long as you want (provided you have the storage capacity), or manually take individual snapshots using the camera icon in the app. The W7 camera has a MicroSD card slot that you can install up to a 128 GB MicroSD card into to record locally, as well as recording to your mobile device.All-in-all I would highly recommend the Wansview W7 Wireless Security Camera to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, feature-packed outdoor wireless security camera to monitor their home. You can also subscribe to the Wansview Cloud Service for a fee for cloud storage of video, but I have not opted to try that service out so far.

Setup was easy, after downloading the app, if you look at pictures 1 thru 3 you will see. You select the plus sign in the app at top right corner (Pic #1) then (2nd Pic), you select the camera which here was the W7, then (the 3rd picture) I chose the second option. I scanned the top of the camera's QR code then followed the screen prompts. It took maybe 5 minutes. I do want to say that when removing the camera from the mounting bracket, pull it straight out,not up. It's a bit difficult especially when there's nothing that says how to do it.(Pic #4 ) shows the features. When you are in the app you'll see all the camera's you have set up. When you click on one of them to open it you'll see a settings button in the top right corner. Click that and it will open all the options pic #5. The first one is to invite family members, this is how you'll share with others in the household or others in general. They will need to have the app installed on their phone first. The one for motion detection, you can select the sensitivity here to detect movement by sliding the dot from low to high (pic #6). I kept mine at normal. If you put it on high, it will detect every tiny movement like leaves blowing from the wind. When you click on detection area above the sensitivity level. You can select an area that you want to get notified about movement. Drag the box side's until you get the area that you want (pic #6A). In my case, I didn't want to be notified of people just walking by so I moved the box to select just the area I wanted to monitor. It will still record that area, just not notify me of movement. When you click on Motion alert, you can turn on alerts or turn them off.Light and night vision you can see the options see Pic#7.Device management (pic #8), here you can reset the camera without going outside to physically do it or do it while away from home when it's not functioning correctly. You can also reset it to factory settings or delete it from your app all together here.Pic #9 is a picture of the motion, you can find these under "alerts" on the main page in the app.The quality of the picture is great, you can zoom in with 2 fingers like how you do on your phone when looking at a picture. You can pan the camera from the app to look around and change the view you have. If you tap the picture, you'll see a box on the bottom right, if you tap the box, you'll make the picture full screen. You can still use pan just by tapping the screen, the pan option will show right on the picture to use.Pic #10 is night visionThe last 2 pictures are the two camera views during the day.I did not purchase the cloud that was offered, I use an SD card. But the cloud is offered to you if you want to use it for a monthly fee starting at $2.99.I had first purchased an indoor camera from Wainsview to check on my dogs while I'm out and had been using it for more than a year. I also had already purchased the w7 outdoor camera for my mother about 2 months ago and have been impressed with that as well before getting these for myself. Mom with very little tech knowledge, can use the app with ease. I'm impressed with the company overall and their costumer service too. I would recommend Wainsview to anyone. The camera's are an inexpensive way to add security to your home.
