I have been tumbling ammo brass for over 40 years. The media 6-10 grit is hard to fine but is best for me when tumbling all my old brass. A lot of bad reviews but for me it worked very well . It came by mail (USPS) and very reasonable time .About a weekBottom line I am happy

I’m a custom bullet maker FFL-06. This walnut media is perfect for polishing projectiles without getting media stuck in the open tips of the bullets. It polishes fast and doesn’t leave a coating of dust on my bullets

Very pleased. Bought for filling crafts. Arrived tied well. No issues with spilled material or damaged packaging. I used about half so far. No issues with the product. I had been worried that the quality of blasting media material may have been lower than I would want for craft so I had been keeping an eye out for indication of rotting material or pest damage I may want to remove but I have not found any of that yet. I have also worried about sharpness of edges and had wondered how many layers of fabric to use as padding but the pieces are not sharp; with two pieces of non-stretch clothing weight type cotton, people can't tell the difference between large rice and this walnut material.I use this product for crafts. One use is to wrap in cotton and heat in the microwave as a warming pack (with cup of water for steam). I think walnut shell is better than rice because it's denser and less delicate. Ensure you let it dry since you're steaming it when heating. Walnut shells supposedly can be washed, though I have not tried this myself. I would encourage anyone doing this to make sure you dry them thoroughly and store where there is airflow because there will no doubt be moisture remaining in the material so you don't want it rotting. While I don't know about this manufacturer and product in particular, I am familiar with and hear good things about walnut shells as used in abrasive blasting.Using this product in crafts got me thinking of using larger mesh sizes for gardening applications. In case you don't know, mesh size is openings per inch. My understanding of this is: 6-10 means that if you line up between 6-10 pieces at random, you'd measure about an inch on average. This is because the pieces are not uniform in size or shape. I believe a screen is used to separate sizes.
