Quality product but was missing 1 package of T-bolts, most likely Amazon's fault as I purchased Used but equivalent to new.

I LOVE these racks. Easy installation. Hardest part is finding studs. Easily adjust to the size bins you have. Since they are overhead and may require a ladder, I'd recommend storing light stuff, but they are strong enough to hold quite a bit of weight. The max weight will depend on how well you mount them, and how much you want to carry up a ladder to put in them.I did upgrade my garage lighting since I had only one bulb/fixture and the storage bins blocked a lot of light. Think about that when you determine where you want them.

With exposed rafters, this is a sinch to set up. With drywall, you'll need to budget some time to find good drilling points. Kit has everything you need to store 4-5 bins overhead. I couldn't be happier.

These are reasonable for the price. There are, however, a few things to note:1. If you have 24” ceiling joists instead of 16” you will need 2x4s, or something similar, to mount these so they can be in three studs. While the tracks are technically 48” long, the holes to screw them in are not, meaning they span two joists instead of three. It’s a simple fix, but something to note - especially for newer builds where 24” is the new norm.2. Not all bins fit. We found that only HDX bins fit in these rails if you’re using the 27 gallon totes (most popular size). If you have other bins, be prepared that they may not fit. If you are planning to buy bins specifically for these rails, be sure the ones you’re purchasing slide in before getting all of them and filling them up. We had bins from another popular hardware store and a member warehouse store and neither fit the rails. The “lip/lid” part was too thick for the rail (height between slider and bars).3. Can you install these by yourself? Yes. Do you want to? Probably not.4. Be sure your garage lights are at least one bin length away from the rail system. You will need to pull these bins almost completely out while holding them parallel to the ceiling, meaning if you have a light that isn’t flush with the ceiling, part of your system may be unusable if it’s too close.5. You will not get an extra row with two sets unless you leave space between the two sets of tracks. If installing two sets, they will be too short to create an extra row if you install them in a continuous track. You will need to install the two sets of tracks with enough space in between the sets to accommodate another set of bins. We did not realize this until after we installed them, but didn’t want to reinstall.6. Don’t make the bins too heavy. You will quickly realize that it is not practical to haul a heavy tote up a ladder or step stool, hoist it pretty much up to the ceiling, then perfectly align it with the tracks to slide it in. Keep the bins reasonably light. We chose to use the system for less-used bins like Christmas decor and things we winterize (things we pull down 1-3 times a year). This is probably not something I would want to use for bins that need to be frequently accessed, although we do have 9ft ceilings so this may not be the case if yours are lower.7. The rails stop at the end of their track. If installing as one continuous track with multiple sets, be sure you can slide on the bin rails from both sides as you cannot simply slide them all the way down if using more than one track.8. While a phillips head drill bit works for the screws, we found it better to use a hex nut/socket head bit/adapter instead. The screws went in much easier and faster, and we could tighten the bolts that hold the rails in the tracks more easily as well. At the least, a socket wrench to hand tighten/finish would be preferable. You will also need a 6mm drill bit to pre-drill into the studs. While these were a bit of pain to install, the hardware was all decent quality and the rail system works (once we found bins that fit). They were a good deal for the price, all pieces were there, the instructions were simple, and they look nice hanging up. We have a barely-usable attic, so these were a great alternative for storing some less used items in our garage and getting them off the floor. If you feel confident installing items like this and have the tools for it, I would recommend this set.

Well built and practical storage for garage ceiling. Pretty straight forward to install. Bins clear garage door and take advantage of unused space.

Easy to install with basic math skills. Saves so much space. Can be install on multiple joist measurements. Little bit of give in measurements being off too since you can adjust the brackets. Putting two sets close to each other also gives you an extra row of storage. I am using mostly 27 gallon totes -HDX.

This item has a full measurement of 48" but the mounting holes at max are 47" this means that if your rafters are 24" centers,... then you cannot bolt to the rafters at one end .. 24" rafters are a standard .. they need to be making these 50" to allow for a solid mount.. don't waste your time
