I have a gate the isn't wide enough for the expansion piece, but left the pieced against the wall not as secure and flimsy. Now that my puppy is over 50lbs, she has been able to move it and slide it off the door frame. These shortened the distance the end pieces had making it more secure, gave a much better grip and has not moved even a little despite her weight. I will definitely get these again, for when I need the upstairs gate.

The non slip back is great and super easy to use. I needed 3 extra inches and they did the job. Sure beats buying the gate extenders that often cost more than the actual gate itself. Would recommend 👌

I wish I had found these sooner. We have 3 gates up all the time and one very wide main doorway that needs 3 gate extensions. With the nanny extensions we only need 2 gate extensions. They are very sturdy and not once has the gate slipped off as they often do when the gate is just attached to the wall. The paint on the wall does not even have a scuff on it. Also, no hardware needed to keep these in place! Definitely recommend!

A great solution to stabilize a wooden gate for my dogs. I have a lightweight wooden gate to use in a French door opening that was not stable, no matter how I tried to mount it. This product was easy to install. It will cause minimal damage and has fully stabilized the lightweight gate. Very satisfied, but you do need to purchase the screws that are long enough to use the product.

I have a baby gate that by default is a few inches too short for the wall opening it's been put in. I ordered these hoping that they'd make the gate nice and sturdy without screwing it into the wall, but they don't really. It is still quite wobbly after installation but at least has not fallen down yet. I have had to fix them as they slide out of position on the wall if pressure is put on the gate.

We did not want to drill into our walls to install our baby gates, so I purchased these instead. So far they are working great! We used these instead of adding an extension piece in our larger wall opening. They are pretty sturdy, even with our son pulling himself up. I'm just happy we didn't drill into our walls! These were a quick and easy fix!

We got a Lindam Easy Fit stair gate but had an issue with our skirting board on the stairs having a gap measurement of 81cm and the walls having a gap of 90cm, so the official extensions wouldn't work for us as they come in 7cm adjustments and you have to use them for both the top and bottom pressure points.The Wall Nanny Extender is great as you can either use them for all four pressure points or just the ones you need. In our case we just used them for the top two. It is very sturdy, the stair gate doesn't move at all even if I put a lot of force into it so I completely trust it with my toddler.No installation is required, just place them between the stair gate pressure points and the wall and you're sorted! They also protect the walls really well, leaving no marks.I thought the product was quite expensive for what it is which is the only thing I can fault, but I couldn't really see any other products that would have worked for us so it was well worth the money.

These gate extenders are a very good idea, and nicely designed! Using all four extenders, we were able to mount the pet gate across a rather wide opening that was just a bit too long for the gate alone. However, the description of these Wall Nanny extenders is somewhat inaccurate; each extender will add only 2” to the coverage, not the 4” described! In other words to add the full 4”, you will need to use TWO Wall Nannies, not one. Also (and finally), although they come with a screw hole to attach it more permanently and securely, no screws to do do were sent in the package, and no written alert to let us know that was either possible or suggested! Add screws and instructions!

PERFECT product, just what we were looking for! Our gate was already an extended version but the walkway between the front and the back of the house was just a little bigger. We got by with an old plank of wood which unfortunately would stick and take the paint off our walls (as seen in the picture) to make it try and fit the space. The dogs would run into it or try to climb over the fence and it would slip and fall down and damage our walls.Cue these amazing little things! We were able to not only get rid of the mismatched plank of wood, but the gate is seriously sturdier than ever before and we don’t have to extend the screws out nearly as far. Didn’t even have to screw these extenders into the wall, they are wide enough that they distribute the pressure better than the wall damaging feet, and the rubber backs really are sticking well. Even took down the gate and no paint went with it, so I’m excited to actually touch up the wall now since it’ll stay.Great idea
