I bought a very similar version of this jib crane, and I first assembled it as shown in the pictures and video - All of them show installing both of the silver hinges facing up so the open ends are on top. The top horizontal beam and bottom angled beam are both then slid down over the upward-facing hinge pins and each secured with a big washer and small cotter pin through a hole in the top of the hinge pin. However, I quickly realized that this is completely unsafe for the top beam/hinge. For the bottom hinge, it's fine because that beam is in compression when loaded and the weight sits down onto that hinge. However, as designed, THE TOP HORIZONTAL BEAM ACTS JUST LIKE A SEESAW (where the angled beam connection point serves as the fulcrum), so when you add weight to the end, the force on the opposite end of the horizontal beam attached to the hinge pin is UP, not down, meaning that the weight of whatever load you have on this is supported by only the small cotter pin on top of the top hinge. I did a test run of the one I bought assembled as shown, and I watched the back of the top horizontal beam shift up on the hinge and only be stopped by the washer and cotter pin. Again, it's just like a seesaw, so the back goes up when the front goes down. If that tiny cotter pin breaks, the whole thing will fall. UNSAFE!!To be clear, I didn't buy this exact version, but it's made the same and has the same hinges. I just wanted to post this here as a warning for others.

I got this to use for lite lifting. It’s rated at 500 lbs but I am using it for less than 100 lbs so it works great. Installing was easy as I have exposed stud walls. All the parts are in the box so you are ready to install it as soon as you get it.If you are looking for a wall crane, consider this as it works great for items that are too heavy to lift by hand. It makes it so much easier to lift things using this.

Had to modify this set up to get it to work as needed. The supplied grade 8.8 bolts (grade 5 equivalent) are of poor quality and bend easily. I ordered sets of grade 8 bolts off Amazon to replace all the hardware. No assembly instructions included. Easily to assemble with the pictures but included extra hardware that I have no clue where or how it is used.

It's perfect for its intended use. Mine came without the assembly instructions, but it's pretty obvious how it goes together. One hint-- you'll need an 18 mm (not 17 or 19) wrench.

Easy to assemble and very well made. I had it up on the wall in less than 30 mins. Holds 2-300 lbs without any issues and could hold more. Highly recommend.
