I would’ve given these ear pros with walkie-talkies five star, except upon testing them in range, my husband walked into the other room, my walkie-talkie stopped picking up his voice. He said he could hear me on his, but I could not hear him on mine unless he was just a few feet in front of me. We adjusted the volume on both ear pros even turning them off in case there was interference with walkie talkies, we also changed channels, and again tested the range and mine still wouldnt pick up his voice. Im not sure why this happened but it’s very disappointing. We will be testing them again probably at the range, and if it doesn’t work in a different environment and a farther distance, I’ll have to return them.

I bought this set to allow for communication with others on a shooting range. Out of curiosity, I tested them with all my other walkie talkies and as long as the main channel and sub channel setting match, they work! Now to test them in the field.If you are going to use these for long periods, I highly recommend replacing the pads with gel pads.

Any avid shooter will tell you, there are hundreds of different models and styles. I've tried them all, these are just simply the best. Not very expensive, but not cheap. All around, a good product! I have several in my range.

These came on time and the package was intact. The problem was when I started using them. One out of the 2 muffs was not working properly. Luckily I got it replaced.The only downside I can say is the VOX. It’s not that great. You have to speak loud or be in a very silent environment. Not a fan of that feature on these Walkers but I don’t really care since that feature is no use for what I need them for. Other than that they feel tight, comfortable, and rugged. Definitely recommend.

Just the muffs are great & you can hear quite a lot with the sensitivity of the internal microphone. I first tested them out in the house to see if I could hear the ghost of summer past. Every room is insulated, so you can't normally hear someone talking across the house. Put these on & turn the volume up. I swear you can hear almost clear as day the voices down below..The walkies on auto talk hesitate & start transmitting about 3 words in. Best to just run the push to talk.

This is a pretty cool and functional set up. At first I figured it was a little silly to add a "walkie talkie" to the headset that worked well allowing conversations in and the dangerous ear damaging sounds out. The system works very well without the radio. I thought maybe this was just another way to get into the wallet for something that is not needed. But because it was a cool idea and I am a total nerd when it comes to these things, I spent the money. I was very surprised, we all were.These are by far well beyond what I expected. The muffs alone are the best I have ever used. Comfortable and simple to use. Fit well and do exactly what they advertise. Pack up small and store away in any shooting bag. A friend picked up the storage case for me and I figured it was a perfect set up. Great hearing protection, ease of use, store away well. You feel completely at ease, safe when using the muffs on the range.I needed a second set for the wife and found these. Thought whats with the walkie talkie? Seems kinda stupid right? Way Wrong! These are so very cool and functional.Mount right to the muffs and very cleanly. Fold up out of the way when not in use and add no real weight or clunkyness to the system. You do not even notice that the radio is attached, unless in use.The radio is clear and works very well. Enty of channels to stay clear of anybody else's radios. The "VOX" feature makes these completely hands free. Set up and can talk, listen to whomever is in your group. On a busy range, that is huge. Started with one set, and my friend ended up adding another couple sets after the first use.They still fit in the case, and operate as they should.What a cool set up.The cost is negligible. Worth it, and makes more sense on the range than I ever expected. The extra function adds another level of safety I was not expecting or is even advertised. We can listen to our friends and family, while keeping our eyes and hands where they should be while the red flag flies. Other handhelds work with these as well, so friends and family off the line can still communicate. Can be shut down quickly, in case you are done listening or talking.There are a hundreds of nuances that can be addressed and will be a little different for everybody.My advice is if you go out with others to shoot, hunt or anything that needs hearing protection, these are what you need. Wow, what a difference these have made. We were not expecting anything special, but were very happily surprised. Won't go out with out them.Get these. They are worth it. The level of safety they add alone is well beyond the cost. The option to be able to communicate while standing next to one another or out of sight, hands off and your head in the game, has made a big difference for us.

Ear muffs work well, and the radio is very handy without being bulky. You can hear the radio through the ear muffs, and talk by pressing a button. Very useful at the range. Sound protection worked well for pistol and rifle fire. We will see what the longevity of the product is in time. But so far very pleased with this purchase. Have not used the eye protection so I can't comment on that.
