Love it. So much better then using the string. Looks great. The pin is permanently attached to the band. I wanted to replace the pin with a golden brass button but could not. The pin is good quality and on securely though.

I bought this for my Gibson Hummingbird. I am not putting another strap peg on this work of art. I think the people who complain about how hard this is to use just don’t get it. If it isn’t tight, it won’t work. You can easily make a little more room in your strap “hole” to make it easier. But it must be snug. This is a $4000 guitar. I don’t want a loose strap on it. A little thought and ingenuity had me install this within 5 minutes. That’s not too much time for something that I need to hold my guitar while standing, but also want to ensure that it doesn’t fall. Great product. I wish the color was different, but this is quality:

With an upcoming ukulele performance, I needed to addd a strap. As my ukulele didn't have a strap button, I installed one, but needed an attractive solution for the other side of the strap. This strap button headstock adapter works perfect with my Epiphone Hummingbird Tenor Ukulele. The string clearance after the nut is extremely low, so this strap was the perfect thickness to fit underneath. It looks great and works as it should.

It feels like a secure strap and looks great. The embossed relief details are clear, and the design is reminiscent of Hawaiian heirloom motifs. Perfect for my Lanikai ukulele. It’s $10 well spent.Cons: I took off a star because of how difficult it was to button to my adapter. The leather is very stiff, so it requires significant finger strength and leverage to install. I recommend prying at the opening with your fingers, pen, or some other blunt object until the leather opening becomes more flexible. If you have mink oil or some other leather oil, it may help. Better to take the time to soften the leather than to force and accidentally damage the button.I don’t think I’ll be replacing this strap any time soon, but if/when I do, I believe it will be quite a challenge.

I love my three W & W leather straps -- they're an outstanding product for an unbelievable price. I'm sorry to report that this headstock adapter isn't anywhere near as good. The leather is very thin, and the button is loose and flimsy. Mine came apart -- I was over-stressing it at the time, trying to install too many layers, but it still shouldn't have happened. And take a look at this picture of a torn buttonhole in this review of a W & W headstock adapter --https://www.amazon.com/Walker-Williams-AT-1-BRN-Headstock/dp/B015QZPS9Q/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=guitar+headstock+strap&qid=1575402693&sr=8-11Don't buy this. Come on, W & W, you can do way better than this!
