Got this so I'd be prepared when I opened my Trollhole carb on a 74-FJ40. Carb was fairly new but believed the idle circuit was clogged. Carb came apart without hurting gaskets but since it was apart I changed the needle valve and accelerator pump only. Looking close at it, it appeared to be a good re-build kit for the Trollhole carb which is pretty much a copy of the Aisan carb. Great price and included two base gaskets which some more expensive kits do not include.

I just needed the gaskets. Has everything but the secondary diaphragm.

The picture looks right. Inside the packaging are two beautiful parts breakdown/instruction sheets for an Aisen 2 bbl carb as used on Toyota FJ 40.So far so good, right?BUT... THE ENCLOSED KIT OF GASKETS AND SMALL PARTS ARE FOR A CARTER ONE BARREL CARBURETOR!!What happened? How do I know? I've had small Amazon errors before, specifically one in which I carefully ordered sparkplugs with 1/2" reach (VW) and received spark plugs with 3/4" reach. I ate that figuring I'd run across a place for those longer plugs sooner or later but this one has really hung me and a customer out to dry for lost but needed time.
