Might work well for senior dog who does not run. I did fit them on the dog as per the instructions; however when he ran the boots did come off. Tried to velcro the boots at the ankle, did not help, still fell off.

Decided to come bk and write a new review since it’s been about a month. Still was a learning curve to use I feel like the actual boot quality could be a little better but over all they are good. They stay on, my dog seems comfortable, if I bought them again I’d get the one with the chest harness/strap to keep in place better. Still feel the price point is kinda high but they work for what they are and my dog does good on walks with out having to stop to carry him part way. Not having to chase down boots is also a plus.

If i could give a Zero star rating i would. 1. To fit properly this must be pulled tightly in different areas and leaves much material on the dogs back which is uncomfortable for them especially if wearing a coat. You can put the coat on first but then causes it to not fit well at all.2. IT DOES NOT STAY ON! Within 15 seconds his front feet were coming out. There is a velcro strap which helped his rear feet but not available for the front. The fabric is so stretchy that one or 2 steps and the front falls off.3. The "new" strap that is supposed to help this stay on more is simply resting on the incredibly stretchy material so it just slides down and quickly trips the dog.This is just wrong all over. Do yourself a BIF FAVOR AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE!The idea is good but the quality is poor. Very very bad buy.

I tried these because I have been cycling through boots trying to find ones that fit, STAY ON, and are easy enough for me to get on and off my service dog. We live in a state that gets really hot and really cold in the midwest so I need something that protects in both. I tried the M first which was too big for my 40lb Husky mix that has fairly dainty paws. The S/M size fit much better.Positives: These are really easy to get on and off! I love that and the shoes are labelled R, L and two B’a for back feet. The adjustments are easy to make while staying snug. They seem like they would be very easy and quick to hand wash and hang dry. They definitely stayed on when having her walk, trot, Sit and Down as her feet were far enough in the ‘sock’ part and the boots were tall enough. I am not a fan of anything putting constant tension on my dog’s collar however so that was a very slight downside. You might not have to use that feature though; I didn’t thoroughly test it out because of my major negative reason:Negatives: the boots themselves were NOT designed to the shape of a paw flat on the ground. The ‘tread’ only covers their claws/toes and not the major pad (see picture - where my thumb is was where her major pad was on her back feet and the front when I checked). This makes the boots not effective when she was walking as, while the rubber was very flexible, the back of the boot will be in contact with the ground and ultimately I am pretty sure the wear and tear wouldn’t be good. They need to really look at the shape/anatomy and elongation of dog feet and redesign them to that. The boots are also very thin rubber with a very thin cloth lining inside the boot. It wouldn’t do much to protect from extreme weather for an extended time and I have had boots that had thicker materials/liners like GooEez brand (which is the best option I have found so far).Overall, these are great if your dog’s paws are a very round circle shape when stepping on the floor and you want to use them for rain or maybe light snow/heat for short outings. Not what I would recommend for a dog like a service dog that has extended outings with their handlers, in extreme weather, or if your dogs paws are the average teardrop/spade shape when actually walking/stepping. I’m going to try Canada Pooch when the size I am guessing she needs is back in stock as they seem to be somewhat better in design visually.

Super hard to put on. You don’t know what way to put it. How loose to put it. Most annoying pair of boots ever especially if you have toddlers and needs to help them put on their stuff too. And totally overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend

Totally worth it!My review on amazon:FINALLY !!!! After 5 years of spending probably hundreds on footwear, none of which stayed on ever, for my doggie, I've found WALKEE PAWS which not only stays on but does so with no problem over or under a harness, sweater, coat, shirt, because it is adjustable where they all come together at the top. Like the front ones are longer for my bichon, and the back ones I adjust to be shorter for a perfect fit. Looks like I bought the last one on amazon! It was a Medium and perfect fit for my 23 pound Bichon. We live in south Jersey which can get very swampy fast after a single rainfall, and if you've never spent and hour cleaning the mud and dirt out of four Bichon paws you won't know why I'm so elated over this product. The first day Simba (stubborn as a Bichon lol) I had to lure him to walk to the kitchen in it with ice cream and took our first slow walk at night. Second day he was still kind of slow but he was realizing with his great fitting Walkees mommy was letting him in the soggy muddy mulch and anywhere where he was NOT allowed to go before because of the puddles that would pool and leave the sorrounding area messy and muddy. By the third day he was running in them to all the places he wasnt allowed before. Great fit and sturdy and goes all the way to the fold in the leg covering the entire leg and keeping it clean. It is completely waterproof, and when we come in, now he stands on his mat and I simply slip them off his paws starting with the front, and off he goes, clean as clean can be! Our prior ritual consisted of going through 3 packs of baby wipes wiping then drying his paws, 15 min. on each paw, just to get them clean. WALKEE PAWS gets 5 stars from me and 5 joyful hoots from Simba!
