A really efficient tool fonturing over soil without needing a garden fork. I whizzed around the boarders and simultaneously got a decent arm workout.cit helps to break up the soil easily and feels sturdy. Really good value for money too. Only down side was the handle doesn't absorb much so I got a blister on my thumb.

This is a must-have tool in your garden shed! Easy to handle, even with breaking up harder soil. Great when you don’t want to plow but need to loosen the soil in between your plants (the tool was heavily used during the prolonged summer drought here). Great for loosening deep rooted weeds too. Well made and sturdy, but not too heavy, and will last a long time.

This is a very useful garden tool. Much easier to use than a fork to loosen the soil.

This little tool is PERFECT for getting to the root of dandelions and other deep rooted weeds and plants! I used it when I was prepping my flower bed, and I also used it in place of a shovel when I was planting! I just loosened the dirt with the tool, and then used my hands to dig. It's very sturdy, and if you're like me and hate weeding, it's totally worth the money.

I recently bought Walensee’s cultivator tool (which I love) but thought this would be a great addition to help till up this huge section of compact bare yard so I could re-seed. It did an amazing job! Tilled up easily and nicely. Only took me a half hour and my back wasn’t even sore! Perfect tool and very durable! Love my purchase!

I bought this for me to use in the garden. So far my husband has let me try it once. Half of our garden is made up of raised beds. Some of the beds are narrow with a trellis down the middle for tomatoes cucumbers, etc... It's hard to hoe and work up the soil. A shovel is impossible. But, this tool works like a charm. Loosens and turns the soil easily. Gets in close under the trellis and close to the edges. It's so easy to use, especially if your soil is moist. This made fast work of getting our garden ready for planting. The Walensee garden tiller is well built and sturdy. I'm sure it will serve us for many years. I might have to buy another one just for me.

I was surprised on how easy it was to break up packed soil to a useable depth. Very effective for a smaller area or a large area (if you want a little more cardio).

This works well with aerating soil and it makes it so much easier to get the weeds at the root. It is sturdy and easy to use.

This really does make turning over soil easy. The direction of the prongs is angled to minimise the effort needed. Great for removing weeds, even deep rooted ones as once on the weed you just keep turning until it is out.I haven't tried it in boggy condition or bone dry/ very hard soil which will make it harder I'm sure

Although it took lots of "elbow grease" to weed out the flower beds and grass growing around my 3 trees, this tool stood up to the task and simply works. However, be advised It does require muscles or strength if you have hard clay or dirt. You must turn the spikes 90 degrees after pushing it down into the ground - all necessary if you're trying to pull out grass that's been growing in place. Lucky for me, the soil around our 3 trees was not all hard clay, (like most of our local Texas area), but softer dirt, mixed with potting soil. After using it most of the day, I skipped the gym, and never quite had an upper body workout like the one I got using this tool. Still, I'm glad I bought it, and it did make the task of pulling grass/weeds much more manageable. Easy to assemble; just 2 bolts with washers/nuts on each end, and very sturdy.

There are several manufacturers for this sort of twist tiller style product. I do not recommend this one which I purchased because it was reasonably priced and the ergonomic appearance of the tines. It comes in several pieces which I don’t like because that means there are more potential breaking or loosening points. It is also kind of short for a 6 foot tall person. Also, the quality of the metal does not seem to be very strong. I’ve owned other twist tillers that did not have these strikes against them. If you want to plant a small tree or a tomato plant or anything in between this is theoretically, a better option than strip tilling an entire larger area. But as I said, this one is under sized and not especially well built in my opinion, so 3stars.
