I’ve purchased other Wahl clippers in the past for my dog and have been very happy. Purchased these when my cordless clippers wouldn’t charge any longer. They worked just okay for one grooming session, but when I went to use them again, they wouldn’t cut anything. I use them mainly for paw pads and close to my dog’s head. I ended up just scissoring everything! Stay away from these!

It is OK for its price point but not as amazing like other reviews claim it is.The battery life is good, however the clippers need to be cleaned half way through a groom (and we have a tiny cavoodle) otherwise it just cloggs up and becomes impossible to use.Would not recommend for any size dog over small or miniature.The scissors that come with the kit are not that sharp as one would expect from a new set, it was almost as though the scissors had been used before but looked new and unused.

They worked great and the price was good, came with scissors and everything you needed to work on your pets fur coat. It wasn't loud and she was very calm.

This is the third pair of clippers I have tried. the first two either clogged or wouldn't cut at all. This pair of Wahl clippers worked great. They weren't as quiet but my dog didn't seem to mind. They went right through my dog's hair with out a snag.I would recommend these for a doodle with thick hair!

But the scissors were pretty useless.My old clippers lost its edge after 10 years and I bought these to replace. I liked the smaller size and that it's cordless. The scissors in the set probably could just cut paper and other random things, but it's not sharp enough to cut pet hair. The set was only 90$ and decent scissors cost just as much so I wasn't surprised. Fortunately, the scissors I had still works as a charm so no loss.
