I have a really old L-track system- just needed some new lights. These are relatively easy to install - just need to make sure that you have the arrow pointed in the correct position before you twist them in. I bought 4 in total - returning 1 - it won't hold a lightbulb...something isn't right with the threads. The only wish would be if they could be a bit more maneuverable.

I have used this style of track light over the years and these cans are acceptable replacements although not as high quality as original Halo track lights I replaced. The can to liner fit is close but not perfect and one came chipped. This is generally not visible from any distance but can be felt with your fingers. The biggest issue is you can only rotate these about 300 degrees so if you want to point this in that small area it can't rotate to you are out of luck. Fortunately, or unfortunately, the manufacturing is imprecise so each light can have a different "dead" zone so swapping the fixtures can be a work around if necessary. These are easy to install but some bulb sizes are a tight fit and can be hard to screw in. Also the bulb socket in the can is often not quite straight or centered but you can bend it straight before screwing in the light bulb. I am a repeat purchaser as these are the closest match I found for the originals and they work fine.

This is the second time I've ordered these canisters. Once in the track correctly and the light is installed, they work well. The challenge is #! getting them in the track correctly and #2 the lights. When installing you need to rally make sure you have jammed the light as far up into the track as possible before turning the base to lock it in. Otherwise, it doesn't make an electrical connection for the light to work. Putting spot/flood lights in or removed burned out bulbs are a nightmare. You have limited space to turn the bulb because of the sides of the canister. For some reason to remove a bulb with a larger hand is VERY difficult.

Lamp looks good but arrived broken. First item was shipped in a retail cardboard box. There was no padding in the packaging to protect during shipping. I requested a replacement and sent the first one back, the replacement arrived and was broken as well. On of the pins that connect to the track is snapped off. Then I found a note on the box that this light was broken. So someone else returned a broken fixture, with a note and Amazon/seller shipped it back out to me... Very disappointed with the quality and service for this product.

Very happy. Great light. I like that they use a standard screw in light bulb. The longer style of this light makes it so that the actual light bulb does not show when pointed more towards you and provides more of a spot type effect. Great value.

Product delivered matches description. Some difficulty as first pressing /turning onto L Track. Once I got the hang of it, no other installation issues. Works / looks great.

Easy to install and allowed be to use a 90 watt equivalent LED bulb to greatly reduce lighting cost while proving a brighter overall light.
