I'd been trying for a long time to find the right replacement heads for some track lights that were installed a long time ago. The tracks are embedded in the ceiling drywall so they were tough to identify. I was sure I'd finally figured out that they were Lightolier so I ordered these. I nearly returned them because I thought they didn't fit, but the fault was the way the tracks were set slightly deeper than "flush" at some points but once I worked it out these worked exactly as I'd wanted.I wish they had the ability to angle back upward toward the ceiling a bit more, but I'll keep looking for a true flush mount solution.

I needed to replace some lamps on my Line-voltage lighting track, and I settled on these. My older track lights had a more recessed position for the bulbs, and as a result, were not as bright. I hadn't realized that this would be the case, but the bulbs are not recessed in these lights, and tend to really produce a lot of light. This is neither good nor bad, just something to be aware of. My only complaint is that the lights are hard to aim. I expected that they would have an easy 360-degree swivel, but in fact, it is hard to rotate them easily through 360 degrees. Possible, yes; easy, no. They are also a bit on the expensive side. I should say that I liked them enough that I purchased another three lights for another track light that I had over the kitchen table. Just be aware that they are not recessed and thus pretty brght, and that they are challenging to aim.

To find out what track type I had I removed the end cap screws. Took a phot of the exposed end, then searched for images of track types. It takes some careful comparisons, but if I can get it right, you can to. Just take your time.I have three rooms with these lighting tracks. I wanted to add more cans. With LED bulbs having so much less wattage than older style bulbs I figure I could add more as long as all bulbs were LEDs. The room looks so much better. The cans twisted in place easily.Upgrade your rooms. Lights are so important. Worth the investment. Great company and product.

Hard to find L-Series track heads fit right in to my 30-yr-old L tracks. Sturdy and good-looking.

These are great! Fit the old L track like it said it would. I ordered another set and they were not compatible with the L track.

One of the metal tabs snapped while installing. Like setting fire to $25. Not impressed at all and would not recommend. This was an L-track model for use w/ Lightolier track.

I ordered the L track version and it mounts and connects just fine. I agree with the other reviewer in that the bulb will not be centered in the light fixture. Still, there aren't many options for L track heads that fit a PAR30 or similar sized bulb. I ended up ordering several more and put in some A19 LED bulbs and it is working ok.
