The vacuum can only connect to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; my router has a 5 GHz connection and has no split feature. Initially, I thought I would need to pick up a new router to support my smart devices. But I tried it with a remote. It works well enough. While my smart light bulbs work perfectly, my vacuum cleaner doesn’t connect to Wi-Fi; it only operates effectively with the remote control.The vacuum does an excellent job of keeping dust out from under the beds and managing dust, sand, and dog hair. Although the suction power isn’t extreme, it transitions well between surfaces like rugs. I purchased it for over 40% off and am very pleased with the value. It indeed does most of the cleaning work for me. I just need to keep small, flimsy bathroom rugs up over the tub and ensure that cords are out of the way.My house is 2,000 square feet, and once the battery runs low (@ about1300 sq ft on rugs and hard floor), the vacuum automatically returns to its charging dock, empties its debris, and then resumes cleaning again within an hour. I find it convenient and efficient. I haven’t tried the mopping function yet.I watched some YouTube videos suggesting connecting the vacuum outside in the driveway, but it didn’t work. I might try that again, or I may consider getting a new router someday. However, I would have to deal with the router switch, which means I’d be without internet for a while.

This my first time to try a robot vacuum, it is a game changer for hassle free cleaning. The suction is very good and tackles well dust and debris on hard floors and carpets. The mobile app is really very good, it can do good home mapping and no go zones to keep it away from restricted areas. The self emptying base holds debris for long time, meaning less maintenance also the mopping feature helps keep floors fresh, though it's best for light cleaning. The battery life is great and auto recharge handles large spaces with ease.While the mop function is light duty and initial setup takes some time, the benefits far outweigh these minor downsides. The customizable app controls, good suction, and self sufficient cleaning make it an excellent investment for busy homes. If you're looking for a hands free, high tech cleaning assistant, this robot vacuum is worth it.

Well, it's more like a light floor tickle. I've watched it "mop" my floors, and honestly, I can barely tell the difference. For a vacuum that markets itself as a mop hybrid, that's pretty disappointing. Then there's the noise level. While the regular cleaning sound is manageable, the self-emptying function sounds like a small jet taking off in my living room.Despite these quirks, I don't regret this purchase one bit. I've been using this robot vacuum for a few days, and it's working really well so far. The suction power is strong enough to pick up dust, crumbs, and pet hair, and the mopping feature is a nice bonus for keeping the floors clean. The navigation system is surprisingly good, and it maps the house efficiently without bumping into things too much.The self-emptying feature is super convenient, and I like that I don't have to worry about cleaning it out as often.
