I bought this exact item the same UPC in 2020 as shown in the picture, it was bigger the opening is almost twice the size and fully extended it is longer. This item is a lie it is not what what previously sent and I returned it.

Quality was terrible super thin did not hold up the intersection of the two pieces did not stick together bad to us duct tape to hold the whole thing together.

Les clips pour barrer la hauteur du tube et celle pour le couvercle ne s'enclenche pas correctement. Résultat: la hauteur bouge tout le temps et j'ai perdu le couvercle.

The holder came very poorly oackaged. There was one skinny strip of paper inside the box but the holder bounced around inside the box like a pinball, so the hard plastic lid on the top arrived broken.Amazon replaced it without a problem. The 2nd one came packaged exactly like the first one. Just as poorly. Fortunately, it wasn't broken the second time though.PROI do like that it telescopes, adjusting to the length of the contents. Thats the best I can say.CONsThe top is hard plastic and since the first one came broken, I cannot rate it high on durability.Descriprion says it is weather tesistent. That would be true in rain. But it isn't "tight" and is likely to leak water to the inside contents if the canister got very wet.I bought it to keep the house plans in if our new house that I put in a time capsule for a new home owner after we have passed away. It works for that,.but absolutely will not keep out mice unless I figure out how to seal it with something. The lid is loose.Nottom lone: for my purposes, it will work.It seems a little too exoensive for the quality however. Probably would not buy it again without looking mire carefully at other options now that I've seen it.

It works as designed, so far so good. Only complaint is the clip used to hold the adjustment doesn't work very well so the tube size is never fixed, it keeps moving up and down. I already know the size I want so I simply taped it as a work around.

I have larger sets (numbers) of drawings so I had to buy a second one to help carry them all. Much better than having the drawings rolling around in the car.

Okay - so probably not what most of you are using it for but - using it for BDSM play parties and toys. Because play bags don't fit Canes, Long paddles, Floggers, etc. This one does, BUUUUUT....the adjustment for size slips. It may be perfect for posters (the sides are actually PERFECTly stiff for holding our stuff, kinksters - and it looks perfectly vanilla) -- but the size is just a Shift-And-Click to size it and put it in place. And then when you jostle it and move it around, that shifts and suddenly it's loose and changing size again.So once you know what size you need (guys, canes don't change size, neither do crops, floggers, etc....) -- put it in place, and use a dab of super glue and be done. It's solid, light weight, vanilla looking, and has a strap that fits even my 6'5 partner - when we go to play parties.

Bought for posters for a conference. Definitely extends as advertised, but be careful about being too rough on it when extended - the lock mechanism isn't ideal. It did survive traveling with checked baggage with minimal damage to posters.
