Watch the video and take your time and the results will look great. The tint is light enough, not too dark; the appearance is as advertised. I was hoping the shade would have be a bit more on the grey side but this is my personal preference.Great product and easily a DIY project!

It's my 3rd wrap and it was hard. Not due to the material but simply because I was drunk and it was getting dark.Good quality. Difficult for beginners but still you can remove and reapply as long as you don't heat it. Shipping was fast. There were some imperfections on the film but none of that is visible unless you stare at it for a while. Overall , it get's the job done. If you failed - order another one , it's 15 bucks and worth it.

Very easy to use, I recommend some powder free latex gloves. Heat gun or hair dryer, I used a hair dryer and it came out pretty good. It was my first time tinting headlights so I took my time, only took about 40 minutes to do both. Very durable and forgiving. No difference in brightness and it looks good!!!

Color is fineI thinks the adhesion is a big let down. I have used Vivid black wrap and adhesion was on point. This sucks.

Took this tint to a reputable wrap shop in Toronto and the installation went well however it didn’t last the summer. Thinking it was the installers fault, I bought another set and took it to a second shop where they told me that Vvivid is cheap, Chinese garbage. Avery or 3M is the only way to go. We went ahead with the install anyway and while it looks ok initially, we aren’t confident we have a lasting product that’ll hold up not even a month or two. This set is at a great price point but the poor quality reflects that - I’d stay away. In Justin Pate we trust.

If it’s your first time using vinyl film (like myself), then you will definitely need to take your time especially around curves and edges. Luckily I left some space at the edges, because I wrinkled it so many times and I was on the verge of giving up. Worked out with some heat and squeegee tool. Don’t put your fingers under the area where light will be, because your fingerprints will show up.You NEED a heat gun (blow dryer heats too slow). If you heat it too much, the vinyl will rip so do NOT pull on it as its heating and softening, just hold it. Heat it enough so you can pull it tight across the curves and edges, and use a squeegee tool (using your hands on bulk will wrinkle it). Watch the YouTube videos that VViVid has, they’re extremely helpful.Light smoke tint

I've tried these types of products in the past and occasionally had difficulty applying them. Figured I'd try this to darken my third brake light on my truck and this product was actually quite easy to work with. When it came to the more detailed corners and such, I simply used a bit of heat (not much!) to soften the vinyl and it worked great. Just take your time and make sure to thoroughly clean whatever item you are tinting!

I used this film to cover concave headlights on my 65 Mustang. I've done wraps before but never dry adhesive. Really struggled with the first one trying to get the wrinkles out. My mistake was using a blow dryer and not cutting the material to be just slightly wider than the headlight. On the second headlight I cut a circle about 1 inch larger than the headlight and used my heat gun to flatten it out before I removed the backing. Because it comes in a roll it kept wanting to roll up on my but the heat flattened it out nice. After I laid it out on the headlight I gave it heat and it laid right down. When heated it streches really well. Trick is to do just a little at a time. Anyway, I'm stoked at how great the headlights look. Worth all the work.

This wrap is pretty much exactly what I expected, which is a good thing! I purchased it solely to tint the headlight on my motorcycle (see pic), but am now considering using what’s left on my truck’s headlights as well. I will mention that the face of the headlight I used it on is a completely flat, smooth surface so I can’t speak for it’s ability to bend/adhere around corners and edges. What I can say is that for my purpose, the wrap went on in a snap and looks great, I didn’t have any problems with wrinkles or creases and I can tell they would be easy to work out with a heat gun or blow dryer. For the $10 price tag and the sick touch of customization it adds, I couldn’t give this product anything less than five stars all the way. It’s easy to work with and I’m confident the adhesion is solid (as long as you use lots of heat!). As for longevity, I’ll have to update on that down the road since I’ve just installed it but my first impressions are very good. If you’re on the fence like I was, give it a try I bet you’ll be glad you did!
