Great. Strong and the ends don’t fray too easily.

The thickness, 1.8mm is perfect. It ties a double knot. It is more than I needed to fix two lift binds.

WORKS GREAT ON MY BLINDS

Our blind was still in great condition just the cord gave out. Order this and my husband replaced the cord. It works great and didn’t need to replace the blind which save us money and helped save the planet!

This is a perfect size for lightweight wire antennas. Can be used for halyard line on a portable mast to pull an antenna up and down, or in a tree after shooting a fishing line over the tree and pulling this line back to raise the antenna.Of course you could use it for a hundred other things but the line is smooth, knots easily and melts easily to secure the cut ends.

Too thin for my needs. Trying to repair some older (25yo) blinds and it needs a thicker cord to catch the locking mechanism. Wasn’t finding anything but 1.8mm and calipers was giving me about 1.8mm on the old cord so tried this. However this “1.8mm” seems generous and closer to 1.2mm and coming out too thin. But is strong nylon cord.

It's flimsy -- all floppy-like. It's got no oomph. It's got no backbone.I'm disgusted!I'm going to the garage! 😕

I am satisfied with the product. It seems to be true to size as described. From other reviews, I had some concerns about quality, so I unrolled several times the length I needed and had no issues with frayed or damaged sections in the new cord. I don't see any frays on the remaining visible parts of the spool either. The size was slightly different than the original cord I replaced, which caused minor slipping of one line under the locking wheel when the blind is pulled up. So I replaced both sides so the size would match and it worked perfectly. As others have commented, I don't think exact size is as important as both cords on the blind match so the locking wheel applies equal pressure to both. Because it's nylon, you can seal the ends with a butane lighter to stop unraveling after cutting it. The repair was easy and an economical solution for me.

I found a braided splice about 4 yards from the end, but with 100 yards total, no problem doing 1 large blind.I put super glue on the ends of the old & new cord, and inserted the ends into some small heat-shrink tubing, then shrunk the tubing. Then I just pulled the cord thru the blinds and head-rail. The cold shrink tubing had a problem going around the "pulley" corners, but pulling the cord out & away from the head-rail to give the cord a straighter path helped. I don't know how long the cord will hold up, since I just did the rework. This cord looks just like the original, and I managed to get the correct cord diameter. (Lucky guess)
