I bought this for my baby, but my 5 year old ended up claiming it. Even my older daughter has difficulty with this toy. It’s marketed for younger children but even as an adult is difficult. Don’t get me wrong it is fun but can be harder than portrayed.

This is a more satisfying toy to play with than an ordinary Rubik’s cube. The block mechanism is easy to turn and work with. The style is more geared towards little girls with the colors of pink and purple. Even the visuals on the squares are sweet and feminine. The sound is instant and works very well. It’s crystal clear, loud enough and easy to understand.Overall this is a unique toy. It’s interactive and fun because of the movement and sound. It seems to be well made and has held up perfectly under use. It’s unlike anything my daughter has and I like that about it. I would even rather play with this versus a true Rubik’s cube. I think it would also be fun for toddlers to manipulate and play.

Rubik's cubes and speed cubes have become a thing in my house over the last year and a half. My oldest can solve them fairly easily and since my siblings have the whatever you can do I should be able to do to attitude both ds8 and ds6 are now wanting to learn. Gsh got a speed cube for his birthday and ds6 had asked for a 2x2x2 cube and when I saw this I thought it would be perfect. It helps him learn the mechanics of the tube without getting too frustrated because the games are relatively simple and short. The volume isn't annoyingly loud and at least so far it's held up to semi rough play. He likes the princess theme, and we both learned things like other words for purse and difference between a crown and a tiara. Is kept him occupied and hasn't been as frustrating as a regular Rubik's cube tends to be so I'm calling this a definite win

VTech Twist Adventures - Princess Party Activity Fidget Cube (Princess Party)$14.97 (Prime), at the time of this reviewI am currently stocking up on newborn, infant, and toddler toys for to furnish our granddaughter's nurseries at her home and ours. This immediately caught my eye, and I'm so glad I ordered it! It is vibrant and eye-catching, very fun to look at, with SO much pink and purple!! It has adorable little characters and items on the squares, and makes loads of fun music and sounds when you twist it like a Rubik's cube. I doubt it will be something that she plays with for long stretches, but she will definitely be intrigued by it for a while when the time comes (it is recommended for ages 4+)! If battery-operated (read: noisy) toys aren't your vibe, you might absolutely hate me for giving it 5 stars. But the sounds are more pleasant than obnoxious to me, so I don't mind hearing it. Great value for a toy of this quality, in my opinion! Thanks, VTech, for another AWESOME toy!!

I'm a fan of any gadgets that will keep kids entertained without staring at a screen for hours. This is great when I take my child out to restaurants or anywhere where I need her to be entertained for some time and I do not want ipad time. It also helps with her motor skills as she has to twist it like a Rubiks cube in certain motions to get certain ones to show up on top. The little "games" are fun and keep her entertained for awhile. It's pretty small so it's also easy to keep in a go-bag with your kids snacks and other things.

This is a good toy made by VTech. But, "Intended for ages 4+ years" is perhaps not realistic. Like many of today's toys, they are too above the actual capacity of average kids. The designers assume that all the kids are very smart, or perhaps they do not have their own kids yet.All the kids are excited for new toys, but my grandkids, still toddlers, cannot really play more than half the toys I have purchased for them, just after a few minutes of excitement, and these toys are all for ages 3+. And I believe that grandson is pretty smart.I think, perhaps, that in order to sell more toys, the toy manufacturers do it intentionally. So, parents need to realize what the sales pitch is, and what it really is. If the way to play a toy sounds too complicated, it would not work well. Simple is better, less is more.
