The stock carburetor from the factory is designed to meet Import Regulations ... not peak performance. Once you install or modify an exhaust or intake, you have put your bike into a leaner condition that will eventually destroy your engine due to heat from running lean. If you notice any popping, you are extremely lean. Our jet kit provides the parts and installation instructions to enrich all the circuits in the carb, to fix this problem, and add performance you can feel in the seat. This is a comprehensive jet kit, addressing all throttle positions, throttle response, and each kit is custom made to your bike and its modifications. Custom Kit worked perfectly on my 2006 VSTAR XVS650 Classic, buy it last month with a none baffled Vine & Hines Short shoot staggered installed, but without any jet job done yet. The instructions are clear, got it done in 1hr, the kit includes all you need. I just sent an email to 6sigma Tech support after purchase advising them my bike current bike setup [Carb+Jets_Intake+Exhaust] and they reply me advising the kit would be tailored accordingly, instruction also include Racing or Extreme mods instructions for those interested.

The instructions were "Generic" and hard to fit into my bike. Not enough information to be accurate. Jet # were not same as factory type jets. It works, but with a lot of try and try again!

Nice Kit Easy to install. As expect with some knowledge in carburetor rebuild is required or mechanical knowledge. Note once installed Carb need to be balanced. Also Back firing will occur. Disable or Remove the Air Intake System is required. Also the dri bits and extraw washer came handy.

Gave me enough to give me options on what to do. As in the past all I used was the jets. this seemed to be enough for now. Later if I do any modifications to the bike I have the second bigger set of main jets and other modification if needed. this is the third of this brand of jet kit that I have purchased and installed and I have found them to work well for me. Yes you can get jets cheaper on there own but these kits, based on you input while ordering) get you in the ball park quickly and less fuss. With all the options for further mod's included in the kits, ( two sets of main jets slide mods, needle shims, etc) and the bike specific information they provide I found this brand of jet kit to be a good value. If you know exactly what jets you need well then just order up those cheaper as individual parts. But if you have carburetion issue you wish to resolve: cold starting problems, slow warm up, a flat spot in the power curve, or intake and / or exhaust mod's then describe it to them when ordering and they jwill likly get you close, quickly to where you need to be. 6 Sigma carburetor jets kits.
