This is the new age of deer cameras compared to what I'd used in the past. No more need to remove an SD card and take it to a computer. You can Bluetooth or wifi connect right to the camera. The solar panel on top keeps it charged, so it's really set it and forget it operation. The video quality is super impressive for this price point.

I purchased this camera to replace my old wired outdoor camera. First of all it's very easy to setup. With no wires to run into the power outlet and hub, what a convenience! I was able to complete the installation in less than 5 minutes, which is amazing. I like that I can monitor the footage remotely in my phone. The app works seamlessly and the connection has been stable. The main battery seems to be working great. It's been more than a week now and the battery is still full. I put in the backup batteries as suggested so I guess I don't have to worry about it for a long time. Finally, the video recordings were super clear even the night vision coverage. Videos are obviously higher than 1080p. My 64g sd card works well for storage and the loop recording kicked in after a week. I'm planning to replace the storage capacity with a 128g sd card soon. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

The VOOPEAK Wildlife Camera has been a fantastic addition to my outdoor gear. Iโve been using it to monitor the wildlife around my property, and the results have been impressive. The 46MP resolution captures incredibly detailed photos, and the 4K UHD video at 30fps makes the footage look smooth and professional. One of the best features is the built-in solar panel, which has saved me from constantly changing batteries. Even in low light, the night vision captures clear and sharp images, so I never miss any nocturnal activity.Setting up the camera was straightforward, and the WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity made it easy to access footage directly from my phone without having to disturb the camera. The motion detection is highly sensitive, ensuring that I capture all the action without a lot of false triggers. Plus, the IP66 waterproof rating has proven to be reliable in various weather conditions, from heavy rain to dust. Whether youโre a wildlife enthusiast or just want to keep an eye on your property, this camera offers the perfect blend of convenience, durability, and high-quality performance.

Weโve had an ongoing problem with a large family of foxes using our lawn as a toilet. Despite erecting chicken wire fencing, they were still getting in.Hereโs an update after we bought a second TC08 to plug the gaps in our coverage. With two cameras we finally nailed their point of entry and route around the garden.Be warned - checking the video and photos each morning becomes quite addictive. Our first camera has been in operation for around 6 months and still hasnโt needed to be recharged. I was sceptical about the pretty small solar panel, however it does work. Itโs never dropped below 40% charge and currently showing over 80% - the backup battery pack (4 x AA batteries) looks healthy too despite the cold weather.Things we like are โฆ..- Great battery life- The pictures and video quality is superb, well worth getting HD recording capability- The camera is robust and relatively light. We initially attached it to sapling tree using reusable plastic tie-wraps - the included nylon strap is pretty long and really for bigger trees.- Camera tripod screw mount - we use a fishing bank stake fitted with a camera adapter- Thereโs SD car storage, however as we check the app each morning and download the ones that interest we probably should have bought a smaller SD card. IMO a 32/64gb card is sufficient as the file compression is good.- The night vision is impressive. Itโs pitch black at the end of the garden yet we still got clear video of a large badger that had dug under our fox defences, allowing the fox family to follow him in. Weโve now sorted that weal point after the camera helped pinpoint the issue.- interesting to have recordings date / temperature stamped- 2-year warranty if you register your cameraAll in all, weโre very pleased with this buy - it does what was promised and watching wildlife activity is fascinating .Things to note- I couldnโt find the maximum memory card size in the specs. This should be made clearer. Ive worked out that something in the 32gb - 128gb range works fine- youโll need to buy 4 AA batteries for the back up power packOverall a cracking trail camera thatโs well worth the investment.

I bought this as a replacement for a cheaper wildlife camera from another manufacturer which didn't work too well, sometimes not taking pictures or filming. This new camera arrived quickly and was a good price with prime discount. Well packaged, and after a quick read of the instructions very easy to set up. Wireless connection was made quickly and easily, and is really useful, being able to check the wildlife captured previously without disturbing the position of the camera for subsequent photos.Set up in position in the back garden the PIR worked well, and photographs/movies were very clear. Occasionally leaves moving were setting the camera off, so I turned down the PIR sensitivity and these โfalse alarmsโ were reduced. So far all I have photos of are my cat but hoping to get some of the wild visitors we have been getting โ foxes, a hedgehog and some field mice. Results so far are very good, clear daylight and good night time pictures. I am not sure of the final position I will set the camera in, I may buy a tripod for moving depending on where the animals are, however there is an adjustable mount to screw to something and a large strap to fasten around a tree so plenty of options. Highly recommended!

I used this to get photos and video of wildlife on my wooded property, but I returned it because of one major issue.Pros:-Multiple power sources. I charged it once and it stayed charged for about 3 weeks without draining the battery.-Image and video quality was good, both day and night.-Wifi connection was nice. No need to take out the memory card to review photos.Cons:-Sensor trigger unreliable. Sometimes doesn't work at all.-Sensor trigger time way too slow. Nowhere near 0.1 seconds. More like 2-5 seconds when I tested it.-App is just OK. Takes about a minute to connect and sometimes freezes.I set the camera up while we were on vacation for over a week, and was surprised by how few images and videos it recorded. Typically I'd expect to see animals walk by multiple times each day/night. But in 10 days, it only triggered a deer two times, both in broad daylight. It never triggered at night. I found it hard to believe that was the only animal activity, as June is typically a very busy month for the animals in my woods. Furthermore, the trigger time was very slow. A deer slowly walked through the camera view, and the first image wasn't captured until it was right in the middle of the frame. I'd estimate the trigger speed was more like 2-5 seconds, not 0.1 seconds. At night, it only triggered twice in the 3 weeks I had it set up, and both times barely caught an image of the animal. Unfortunately, one of these was a bobcat I've been trying to catch on camera (the main reason I bought this), and I barely got one blurry photo of it running out of the frame.I did some testing and confirmed the sensor does not trigger reliably, and sometimes takes multiple seconds before capturing an image. I previously owned a less expensive camera that didn't have this issue. I returned the camera and will look for another that is more reliable.Update: The vendor did go out of their way to try to make things right, which I greatly appreciate. Unfortunately, I had already purchased another camera before I found their email in my spam folder.

I have used several of this style of camera over the years, but they've basically all needed batteries, so having a small solar panel built directly into the top means if the unit gets enough sunlight (not covered by leaves, etc), it can last potentially indefinitely based on usage! It is super easy to set up (both physically and connecting wirelessly), and the capture quality itself is perfectly usable for amateurs/hobbyists like me :)
